The World Basketball League

The year is 2029. The world is much different than the one we know today. The economic collapse of 2015 decimated the population and civilization in general. After years of turmoil things began to stabilize in 2022 and have now started to resemble the way the world was in 2014, before the collapse.

With humanity in turmoil and militaries being called to action worldwide professional sports became an afterthought. By 2016 all major sports leagues had completely folded.

2023 saw the reemergence of college sports and with no pro sports competing for fans attention their popularity was through the roof.

Several attempts at reintroducing pro baseball, football and soccer have been mad and all failed quickly.

A group of individuals around the world has now come together to establish what could be the first successful new professional sports league.

Welcome to the World Basketball League.

Be a GM/Owner

The league will be made up of team owned by you, the members of this forum. When you sign up I need a City and Nickname for your team. Initially I am looking for 10 teams but if there is more interest I will expand.

Teams can be located anywhere in the world but Cities/Nicknames are first come, first served.

I have yet to determine what game I will be using to play this out so some details are still up in the air.

Trades
Free Agency


If you want to get in on this post with your city and team nickname as well as a logo. Uniforms are optional at this time.
