Jefferson Helps Bobcats Shut Down Magic

MVP: Al Jefferson. Big Al finished with a game high 28 points to go with his 14 boards and 4 assist. Glen Davis was no match for Jefferson's array of post moves. This is the way the Cat envisioned Jefferson playing when they signed him this past offseason.

LVP: Maurice Harkless. Harkless decided to just not show up at all while playing 31 minutes of action. Scoring 0 points and only grabbing 3 rebounds will not cut it. Wouldn't be shocked if Thabo Sefolosha starts to steal some of his minutes away.

X-Factor: Ramon Sessions. Sessions only played 19 minutes but he finished with a team high 10 assist. That's a very impressive number assist in that span of time. Ramon also chipped in 6 points on 2-of3 shooting.

Rookie Watch: Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller. Oladipo had his first 20 point game while shooting 50% from the field and hauling in 9 rebounds. Zeller finished with7 points and 5 boardds in 8 minutes off the bench.

MVP: Perry Jones. Since the trade to Orlando, Jones has seemed to show why he was once considered a lottery pick. PJIII flirted with a triple double finishing with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assist. He also did it on the defensive end with 3 blocked shots and holding Derrick Favors to 2 points.

LVP: Trey Burke. The rookie out of Michigan had a tough night with Victor Oladipo guarding him. Burke finished with 25 points but on 7-of-24 shooting from the field to go with 7 turnovers. After starting off hot with Nelson guarding him, things got hard once Dipo clamped down on him.

X-Factor: Maurice Harkless. After finally recovering from his sprained ankle, Harkless had his best game of the season finishing with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assist. He also got the best of Gordon Hayward oldinh him to 8-of-21 shooting from the field.

Rookie Watch: Victor Oladipo. Dipo filled that stat sheet by also flirting with a triple double. Seeing a lot of minutes at the point guard spot due to Nelson's foul trouble, Oladipo dished out a season high 8 assist to go with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. The kid has really improved since moving into the starting lineup.
