Trust me, WTNY does excellent threads. Just go over to the baeball section and read his Houston Astro's thread and you know he is in it for the long haul (well at least until MLB14 comes out ). Also had a excellent thread in the Football section with Wyoming.

I have been around the boards now for 6 years and have sorta decided it's not worthy investing my time in reading a thread until i see at least 5 or 6 pages. Seems like NBA section is the worst but my guess is because it's probably the sport most followed by the teenage crowd on the boards who tend to have a case of the restart, or I got bored and want to start over. What I can't figure out is why they think they need to create a thread just to tell me they are going to sim the first year or 2 and then quit by page 3.

By the Numbers: 41. The 76ers held the Cavs to 41% shooting in the game.

Parting Shots: Philadelphia got strong performances from MCW and Nerlens Noel. Carter-Williams once again stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 blocks. Noel scored a season-high 20 points to go with 13 boards.

The Sixers' defense made things difficult for Cleveland's guards and in doing so held Kyrie Irving to 18 points and Dion Waiters to a 5-20 shooting night.

The 76ers beat the Cavs for the 1st time in 3 tries this season.

Parting Shots: The 76ers were down by 20 points in the first half, but cut the lead to 3 points mid-way through the 3rd quarter.

Thunder star Kevin Durant was double teamed all game long, and was held to a season-low 14 points on 6-17 shooting. Durant also had 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Jeremy Lamb was much more aggressive than usual with 23 points on 19 shots.

The 76ers were led by MCW, who scored 26 points to go with 10 assists and 6 boards.

OKC outrebounded Philly 60-50, with big rebound games from Serge Ibaka (18) and Kendrick Perkins (15).

Yep. MCW has been rock solid all year. He and Wiggins are really a nice foundation for my team. Noel might also be part of that.
