That's who it was! I saw his face and thought the exact same thing, that it looked like someone. Great Assistant GM too, in MyGM I called him out in a press conference for being too much of a hassle. Dude was sitting right next to me, took it like a champ. Anyways, thanks for following!

Nazr Mohammed Retires
October 28th, 2014

Following the conclusion of this year long-term big man Nazr Mohammed will be retiring. Mohammed, drafted 29th overall in the 1998 Draft, has outlasted many of his counterparts despite never playing big minutes. His career average of 6 points and 5 rebounds was just enough to keep him as a valuable commodity, treasured in the NBA. He played for 8 teams, none of those lasting less than 2 seasons, and won 1 championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2005.

Let's take it over to Ernie and Shaq for the Pre-Game Show...

Ernie: Welcome everyone to the start of the NBA Season! Another year, another championship to chase. The association is looking drastically different too this year, it'll be interesting to see how it takes shape. Shaq, your thoughts on the season?

Shaq: Well Ernie, first off I gotta say Heyooooooo to all my fans out there, let's kick this season off the right way, with a fiesta!

Ernie: Uh, Shaq, I don't think we have time for that right now.

Shaq: Fine, but once the cameras go off we are. The season's shaping up to be another great one, we got some high-profile rookies coming in, LeBron back on the Cavs, of which I joined him there for a handful of seasons, and K-Love joining him there. Actually it seems like most of the NBA is joining him there, at least all the 3-point specialist's are.

Ernie: Let's talk about this game though Shaq, the fans have heard enough about LeBron this off-season. Who are you most excited to see in this match-u?

Shaq: Oh, it's gotta be the new kid, Marcus Smart. I'm not sure how they're gonna handle his minutes, with Bradley being there too, but I'm curious as to what this kid has to offer. He seems like a grimy, hard-nosed player and those are the players I like to have on my team.

Ernie: What do you expect to see out of the Celtics this year?

Shaq: Hopefully a small improvement. I don't see them making the playoffs, but who knows, we are talking about the East here. They have a lot of picks in the coming years and I see them doing a complete re-build through the draft. Not sure how Rondo fits in, a big question is if he'll be dealt come February.

Ernie: Yeah, we'll just have to wait and see on that. Meanwhile, we have them facing the Nets, the team where most of the picks are coming from, and a trade that already was too good to be true. An excellent start to a re-build for the rights to Paul Pierce and Jason Terry for 1-year, along with KG. I'd be elated if I were the Celtics Organization right now.

Shaq: Yeah, you gotta be. Danny Ainge is a wizard over there. Pierce is on the Wizards now, of which I can't wait to see, and Terry fly out to Houston, leaving KG who we all know isn't gonna last much longer. I just don't see a future for them, and honestly I don't really see a present. While Lopez and Williams are good, they're not good enough to beat many of the best teams in the East, even their young, faster counterparts in the Raptors and Wizards.

Ernie: You predicting a tough year for them?

Shaq: Yeah, I do. Especially if an injury happens, it'll be devastating. They'll make the playoffs, for sure, but mediocre is not where you wanna be after giving up all your future.

Ernie: We shall see. Well that'll do it for us here in the studio, be sure to catch Opening Night on TNT where the Nets visit Boston to battle Rajon Rondo and his Celtics. For now, we'll leave you with the Nets' starting line-up tonight against the Celtics. See you later folks.
