Back Court Duo Leads Raptors to Victory Over Pacers
Lowry and Williams Lead Offense

No Terrence Ross? No Demar Derozan? No problem.

Kyle Lowry and Louis Williams lead the Toronto Raptors offence on the road against the Indiana Pacers to extend their season opening win streak to six games. Lowry and Williams both scored 20 points to go with 5 rebounds as the Raptors defeated the Pacers on the road 102-92. Lowry picked up a double-double with 14 assists.

Roy Hibbert used his big body to score a team-high 19 points for the Pacers, who fell to 3-3 through their first six games of the season.

Raptors Hold Off Jazz, Remain Undefeated
Raptors Overcome Lousy Start, Beat Jazz

The Utah Jazz gave everything that the Raptors could handle and then some in a first quarter that finished with a 13 point lead in favour of the 2-4 Utah Jazz squad.

"We played spectacular in the first quarter, but then we sort of fell off," said Jazz guard Rodney Hood, who scored 28 points while shooting 50% from the field.

The Raptors fought hard, cutting the Jazz lead to eight by the end of the first half.

The same Raptors squad that got dramatically outplayed in the first half of the game managed to outscore the Jazz 73-41 in the final two quarters, sealing off their seventh straight win to start off the season.

When asked what head coach Dwayne Casey said in the locker room during the halftime break that lead to such a offensive uprise, Casey smiled and said, "It's a secret".

The Raptors leave the Air Canada Centre and head on the road to Houston to square off against James Harden and the Houston Rockets in their next game.

Re: Canadian Pride | The Toronto Raptors

Raptors Halt Rockets Comeback, Win Eighth Straight
Lowry Leads the Offense

Kyle Lowry scored 24 points and picked up eight assists against his former team to pace the Toronto Raptors to a 107-100 victory over the Houston Rockets on the road.

Lowry led the team with a team high 24 points, shooting 14-14 from the free throw line.

James Harden scored 23 points for the Rockets, who dropped their record to 5-3 with the loss, but shot only 1-9 from beyond the arc. It was a good representation of what the Rockets had to deal with all night, as they shot just 36-104 from the field in what Harden called a "poor team effort".

Patrick Patterson left the game in the fourth quarter after landing awkwardly on a rebound attempt, and will be diagnosed later this evening or tomorrow to determine the extent of his injury.

The Raptors will go for their ninth straight win on the road against the physical Memphis Grizzlies in their next matchup.
