Orlando,FL-- We just have found out my ESPN Analyst Jay Williams that top 10 Basketball Prospect Cole Campbell has decided to go to the university of...
Michigan.

Head Coach of Michigan, John Beilein said "I can't wait until Campbell gets onto our roster for next season. We already have a soiled squad with another great young guard in Trey Burke. I believe we can make it far in the tournament in the upcoming years."

Head Coach of Duke, Coach K said "I find it disappointing that Campbell didn't decide to come to Duke, but I must say I can't wait until we get an opportunity to play Michigan, so I can show Cole what he is missing."

Re: College Career of Cole Campbell

Pound, Pound, Pound....... Swish. In warm-ups all Campbell could think about was if he was going to be one of those top recruits who wouldn't pan out in college. Since Campbell was 5 he dreamed of making it to the top. First high school, then college, and lastly to the NBA. In high school Campbell dominated back in his little town in New York. Scoring more than 30 points per game and more than 10 assists a game. Campbell didn't know if he could be that star in college.

"Campbell!"
"Yes Coach?"
"Your getting the start at the 1 tonight."
"Coach... I don't know if i'm ready. Ever since I started I keep having thoughts that I won't make it in basketball."
"Are you serious? You have the most potential and skill out of ANY of these freshman even though the dip-****s at ESPN said you didn't. Just go out there and play basketball the way you would in your backyard."
"Yes Coach!"

Radford.gif (0-0) @ Mich.gif (0-0)

The first half was a struggle as Radford was playing AMAZING defense and Michigan was trailing at half 31-17. Campbell with 4 points and 1 assist shooting 2-6. The huge deficit didn't stop Cole Campbell from getting a win in his first college game though. Michigan started the 2nd half with a 16-0 run and 6 of those points came from Campbell fast break dunks. With Cole Campbell and Trey Burke the Michigan Wolverines outscored Radford 44-19 in the 2nd half to win on opening day. Trey Burke had 17 points and 5 assists as Tim Hardaway Jr had 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Michigan Dominates Second Half In Win
The first half was rough for Michigan as Cole Campbell had 3 fouls causing backups to come in and make the game very close. At half Michigan was barely hanging on with a 32-29 lead. The second half was different as Cole Campbell had no fouls and scored 21 of his 30 points. Trey Burke managed to score 11 out of his 13 in the second half also. Michigan ended up winning a hard fought game 73-59 to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Cole Campbell- 30PTS 6STL 3REB 1AST
