12/2/14 @ Cleveland Cavaliers
[Game Links: Bucks Boxscore | Cavaliers Boxscore | Team Comparison] Cavaliers survive scare from young Bucks By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 2, 2014 The Good: Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving put on a show for the Cleveland crowd has he dominated his matchup with fellow young point guard Brandon Knight. Irving finished with 28 points, 3 rebounds, and a season high 12 assist as the Cavs survived a nail bitter against the up and coming Bucks. The former number one overall pick shot the ball efficiently going 11-of-19 from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line in 35 minutes. The Bad: Brandon Knight. Brandon Knight had a nice stat line putting up 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assist in 34 minutes, but he played that good old matador defense against Irving. Instead of focusing on guarding Irving, Knight tried to get into a one-on-one battle with him and he failed, failed miserably at that. Don't want play like that in a contract year. Rookie Watch: Jabari Parker. Jabari Parker finished with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assist, and 3 steals on 6-of-10 shooting in 37 minutes of action. You can say the Bucks could've won if some of Knight's shots went to Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo has they only took 18 shots combined while Knight threw up a team high 17 in the loss. X-Factor: LeBron James. Usually LeBron James is the best player onthe court, but against the Bucks he took a back seat to Irving, but he still put up some eye popping number. The four time league MVP finished with 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assist while shooting 10-of-21 from the field and 7-of-11 from the charity stripe in 38 minutes. On Tap: Dallas Mavericks |

12/3/14 vs Dallas Mavericks
[Game Links: Mavericks Boxscore | Bucks Boxscore | Team Comparison] Monta's game winning three sinks Bucks By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 3, 2014 The Good: Monta Ellis. Monta Ellis led the way for the Mavericks finishing with a game high 27 points and 6 assist in 34 minutes of action. Ellis could've shot the ball better (8-of-20), but the last shot he did make counted the most. With the game tied up at 102 all, Ellis nailed the game winning three pointer at the top of the key the give the Mavericks their 7th victory on the season. Maybe Monta really does it all. The Bad: Brandon Knight. Brandon Knight had another sub-par outing during the Bucks mini losing streak. In 32 minutes of action. Knight finished with just 5 points and 8 assist on 2-of-6 shooting from the field. To make things even worse for Knight, it was his job to guard Monta Ellis on the game winning shot. Been a rough past few games for the young point guard. Rookie Watch: Jabari Parker. Even in a losing effort, Jabari Parker finished with a career high 25 points on 10-of-14 shooting and 5-of-9 shooting from three. Parker also chipped in with 7 rebounds, 2 assist, and 2 steals and only had one turnover in 31 minutes. He was a +9 during his tenure on the court. X-Factor: Jameer Nelson. Jameer Nelson was a much needed spark plug off the bench for the Mavs against the Bucks. Nelson only played 13 minutes but he put up 12 points and 3 assist in his limited time on the court. The 6'0 point guard shot a near perfect 5-of-6 from the field and was a team high +13. On Tap: Miami Heat Last edited by Jumpman14; 02-14-2015 at 04:46 PM. |

12/5/14 vs Miami Heat
[Game Links: Heat Boxscore | Bucks Boxscore | Team Comparison] The Greek Freak drops a career high 23 points on the Heat By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 5, 2014 The Good: Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 2nd year forward out of Greece led the charge for the Bucks has they ended their three game losing streak. Antetokounmpo finished with a game high 23 points on 10-of-16 shooting from the field. The "Greek Freak" also pulled down 9 rebounds and handed out 3 assist with a steal and a block to top of his impressive game against the Miami Heat. The Bad: Luol Deng. Luol Deng was brought it to try to help replace LeBron Jame's production after he left over the summer, but Deng shooting numbers are down to a career worse this season. Entering the game, Deng was shooting 38% from the floor and 18% from three. Against the Bucks he finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds but only shot 4-of-10 in 31 minutes. Rookie Watch: Shabazz Napier. The 24th overall pick in last June's draft played 21 minutes off the bench for the Heat in the loss to the Bucks. Napoer scored 7 points with 2 assist on 3-of-9 shooting from the floor and 1-of-5 from behind the arc. He was a team high -23 in the losing effort. X-Factor: Jabari Parker. Jabari Parker had a rough night shooting the rock (4-of-12), but he made up for it scoring 10 of his 14 points in the Bucks 4th quarter scoring barrage (outscored Miami 35-16) that put them up for good. Parker also pulled down 5 rebounds and had an assist and a steal in 31 minutes of action. On Tap: Dallas Mavericks |

[Game Links: Bucks Boxscore | Mavericks Boxscore | Team Comparison] Mavs sweep season series with Bucks with 94-90 win By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 7, 2014 The Good: Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk Nowitzki didn't have any eye popping stats against the Bucks, but he did what he had to do to get the Mavs the victory. Nowitzki finished the night with 16 points and 8 rebounds while shooting a very efficient 7-of-10 from the field. Even more impressive was Nowitzki did this while only playing 27 minutes. The Bad: Brandon Knight. Brandon Knight's recent struggles continued against the Mavericks. Knight played 30 minutes and scored 10 points and handed out 6 assist but he shot 3-of-8 from the field and was a -7 for the game. He also allowed Devin Harris to have his best game of the season against him. Rookie Watch: Jabari Parker. The number two overall pick finished the game with 14 points and 3 rebounds in 30 minutes of action. Parker went50% shooting from the field as he made five of his 10 shot attempts. His shooting percentage on the season has moved up to 46%. X-Factor: Devin Harris. A stated earlier, Devin Harris had his best of the season against the Bucks. Harris scored a season high 16 points and dished out a 8 assist in the process. Harris went 4-of-9 from the floor including going 3-of-8 from behind the arc and 5-of7 from the free throw line in the win. On Tap: Oklahoma City Thunder |

12/9/14 @ Oklahoma City Thunder
[Game Links: Bucks Boxscore | Thunder Boxscore | Team Comparison] Westbrook's triple-double pushes Thunder past Bucks By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 9, 2014 The Good: Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook was playing like the best player in the NBA and a MVP candidate while Kevin Durant was out injured to start the season. And he has kept it up even with KD back in the fold. Westbrook notched his first triple-double of the season against the Bucks finishing with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assist on 9-of-16 shooting from the field in 32 minutes. Westbrook also had a game high 3 steals in the win. The Bad: Brandon Knight. It seems like every time the Bucks lose, Brandon Knight ends up here in the bad category. That's because he usually plays like pure crap when the Bucks lose. Knight played 29 minutes and put up 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assist in a losing effort. But his shooting numbers were abysmal as he went 4-of-11 from the field and 1-of-6 from behind the arc. Rookie Watch: Jabari Parker. Jabari Parker was tied with Giannis Antetokounmpo with a team high 14 points. Parker grabbed 4 rebounds and added an assist, a steal, and a blocked shot for the game. The former Blue Devil had another sub-par shooting game finishing 5-of-13 in 29 minutes. X-Factor: Kevin Durant. It was just another day at the office for the reigning league MVP. Durant scored a game high 28 points while pulling down 7 rebounds to go with 2 assist and 2 steals in 36 minutes. Durant shot 11-of-24 from the floor and 6-of-11 from deep in the victory. 12/13/14 vs Los Angeles Clippers
[Game Links: Clippers Boxscore | Bucks Boxscore | Team Comparison] Antetokounmpo's 15 point 4th quarter lifts Bucks past Clippers By Brew City Hoops Posted Dec. 13, 2014 The Good: Giannis Antetokounmpo. With Jabari Parker fouling out early in the 4th quarter, Giannis Antetokounmpo put the Bucks on his back and led them to the victory over the Clippers. The Greek Freak scored 15 of his 19 points in the final quarter as the Clippers had no answer for the 19 year old. Antetokounmpo finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assist while shooting 9-of-14 from the field in 30 minutes for the Bucks. The Bad: Clippers Big 2. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin both laid big duds against the Bucks. Paul finished with 14 points and 7 assist but only shot 3-of-10 from the field. Griffin also had a woeful shooting night going 4-of-10 from the floor for 12 points and 7 rebounds in 33 minutes. Paul was a -10 while Griffin was a -15 as they and the rest of the Clippers starters outside of DeAndre Jordan played like complete crap. Rookie Watch: Jabari Parker. Before fouling out of the game, Jabari Parker put up 10 points and 5 rebounds on 3-of-7 shooting including going 2-of-4 from three and 2-of-2 from the free throw line in the win. X-Factor: Brandon Knight. Brandon Knight's contribution to the win goes way beyond the boxscore. He was all up in Chris Paul's grill all night long making things uncomfortable for the 7x all-star.A majority of Paul's points didn't come until Knight left the game with a knee injury late in the 3rd quarter.
