Hinrich Sprains Ankle Against Thunder
November 25, 2015 Chicago, IL--Kirk Hinrich suffered a severe sprained ankle in Tuesday's loss to the Thunder. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
"Kirk will be a big loss for us," GM Gar Forman announced Wednesday. "He is a professional and an excellent leader for us. He brings a hard-nosed defensive presence which will be missed. As of now we will not be exploring free agents, and we will try to fill the void from within."
This means that E'Twaun Moore will be finding himself as the backup point guard for the foreseeable future. Moore has been solid in limited minutes, but he will have to take on a different role as floor general when Derrick Rose is on the bench.
This also presents an opportunity for rookie, Jimmie Brown, to get his first meaningful minutes of the season. If neither of them step up to the challenge, expect the Bulls to look to free agency to find a suitable replacement for Hinrich.

Bulls Take Care of Business
November 27, 2015 Boston, MA-- The Bulls went into Boston and dispatched of a weaker team tonight, beating the Celtics (2-10) 107-94. The Bulls racked up an astounding 31 assists as a team, and their defense smothered the young Celtics.
Jimmy Butler continues to make his case for the All-Star team as he contributed 23 points, five rebounds, and seven assists. Spaniard, Pau Gasol, played big tonight scoring 19 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
The Celtics are a team in disarray as they have little veteran leadership to inspire and push their young talent. They have an abundance of young talent, but they lack a solid core that they can build around. They especially lack an inside presence. Vitor Faverani had 15 rebounds but only two points, and Jared Sullinger hasn't made the leap everyone was hoping he would.
Doug McDermott looked as good as he has all season, scoring 17 points on 6-9 shooting, including 4-6 from downtown. If McDermott can continue to be aggressive, there aren't going to be many teams that can slow down this Bulls attack.
Jimmie Brown, in his first meaningful game of the season, played well. He looked poised out there as he contributed five points and four assists.

Bulls Close Out First Month of Season With a Win
November 29, 2015 Brooklyn, NY-- The Bulls used a strong shooting night to defeat the Nets in the last game of November. Joakim Noah dominated all facets of the game with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists.
The Bulls jumped out to a 20-6 lead, but the Nets were able to fight back and tie the game at 26 in the second quarter. Deron Williams played well scoring 22 points and adding 10 assists, but the Bulls once again had too much fire power.
Derrick Rose had 12 points at half, and he was able to match that in the third quarter alone. He used a variety of spin moves and crossovers to get into the lane and finish strong at the rim and get to the line. In the fourth quarter, Pau Gasol took over and scored 14 of his 21 in the period.
"A good win to finish the road trip at 6-1," a soft spoken Jimmy Butler said after the game. "It's our longest road trip of the year, and to be clicking this early in the season is a good sign." Butler finished with 17 points and eight rebounds.
The Chigao Bulls finished the month of November at 15-2 and are clearly the cream of the crop in the NBA.

^The Nets should totally move back to Jersey, they're playing like they belong there, lol.
Otherwise, a nice way to close out the first month. Got to love what Noah is doing (NOAH!), love how he plays. The Bulls competition will get tougher now, though, and the Hinrich injury could be big depending on what happens with Rose -- Bulls could be looking at a potential minefield if Rose goes down.

I love Noah, he is by far my favorite player. If Rose goes down I am royally screwed. He is still the best player on the team, and maybe the league this year. Also, I've been catching up on your Seattle Dynasty, it's a great read. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Well, A: Noah is my favorite Florida basketball Gator, ever. Dude is super-good at what he does, has a couple of surprises in his bag, and is the most passionate man on the floor night in/night out. He's the current holder of "KG in his prime" psychotic levels of passion award (KG lost out on his title when he got traded to the sorry Nets).
And B: Much appreciative for the read back (totally not necessary!). I'm glad you're enjoying it, I want to give every season a unique feel/tone.
November Recap
November 30,2015 Chicago, IL-- The Chicago Bulls closed out the first month of the season as the best team in the NBA with a record of 15-2. Their only two losses came in close games against the Pacers, the third best team in the East, and the Thunder, the defending Western Conference champions. Derrick Rose has provided an MVP-type performance over the course of the past month, while Jimmy Butler is putting up All-Star numbers.
The backcourt is accompanied by a very productive and active front court. Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol causing havoc in the paint against opposing bigs. This Bulls team is the real deal.
The Indiana Pacers got off to a slow start but they have found their groove and find themselves only four games back of first. Paul George continues his ascent into super stardom. An early season surprise, the Kings have since lost their luster. They have fallen to 10-7 after starting the season at 7-1. An unexpected team in the playoff hunt this early in the season is the 76ers. They are sitting at 9-8 and are led by their young bigs, Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel. Embiid leads the league with 13.4 rebounds per game.
John Wall has put up ridiculous numbers, averaging 27 points and 10 assists per game. But that has done little to help the Wizards, as they sit at 4-14. The loss of Kevin Love has done damage to the Cavaliers, as they sit at 7-11 and last in the Central Division. That's a hard fall from grace considering they were a broken leg away from an NBA championship in all likelihood last year.
As the league begins to take shape, look for more developing stories as we move toward the new year. Can the Bulls keep this up and get healthy? Can the Cavaliers be elite again? Where the hell is Carmen San Diego?
