Dayton Flyers Legacy (CH 2k8)

Big fan of the A-10. One of my very first legacies I spent many years at St Louis and more recently played with Richmond. Dayton always gave me fits well at both schools.

Good luck and looking forward to having some basketball threads to read with March Madness around the corner.

I'm personally surprised I haven't seen a College Hoops game before. Loving this so far, but I hate Dayton for beating my Bucks in the Tourney last year 😡

Duquesne Dukes at Dayton Flyers

In an amazing scoring outburst by both teams, the Flyers needed every point they could get to come away with a two point win over Duquesne. Dayton drilled 10 threes in the winning effort, and connected on 25 of 29 foul shots. While the defense was poor once again without Kurt Huelsman, the great offensive performance was enough to win the game.

Temple Owls at Dayton Flyers

Dayton played a much more complete game against Temple, succeeding both on offense and defense. The Flyers held the Owls to just 55 points on 20-58 shooting in the 17 point win. Ball movement was key on the offensive side for Dayton, as the team compiled 19 assists on 28 field goals.

Dayton Flyers at La Salle Explorers

Dayton led late at La Salle, but the Explorers went on an 8 point run with under 4 minutes to go that was too much for the Flyers to overcome. At 6-6 in the conference, Dayton now returns home, for a chance at revenge against rival Xavier.

Xavier Musketeers at Dayton Flyers

In this UD Arena's biggest game of the season the Dayton Flyers were unable to please the home fans, losing to rival Xavier by 24 points. After two consecutive losses, the Flyers find themselves squarely on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament.

In a must win game against the Fordham Rams, Dayton went to overtime, but managed to come away with the win. The scoring was very well balanced for Dayton, as 5 players scored in double figures. Now at 7-7 in league play, the Flyers have two games left: @ St. Bonaventure, and at home against St. Joe's.

Playing against the last place Bonnies, Dayton easily avoided a season-kiling bad loss with a 27 point win on the road. The Flyers shot very well from the field (28-56) and the line (25-29), as St. Bonaventure never threatened to win.
