Monroe and Drummond have their way in 117-96 win over Heat

The Good: Greg monroe and Andre Drummond. Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond completely dominated the Miami Heat frontline in the Pistons blowout win. Monroe put in a game high 31 points with 11 rebounds and 4 assist while shooting 13-of-27 from the floor in 36 minutes of action. Drummond was right behind him with 22 points, 17 rebounds, and 3 steals on 10-of-14 shooting 34 minutes.

The Bad: Shabazz Napier. Shabazz Napier got the start at point guard for the Heat over the struggling Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole, but Napier didn't fair any better then they have. The 24th overall pick in last June's draft scored 10 points with 4 rebounds and 5 assist, but he struggled to shoot the rock going 4-of-11 from the field in 30 minutes.

X-Factor: D.J. Augustin. D.J. Augustin has filled in nicely for the injured Brandon Jennings. Augustin finished with 17 points, 3 rebounds, and a team high 9 assist in the win over the Heat. The former Texas Longhorn shot the ball extremely well going 6-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from behind the arc.

Rookie Watch: Spencer Dinwiddie. After ginally getting come consistent minutes, Dinwiddie has shown some potential. In 15 minutes off the bench, Dinwiddie scored 6 points on 3-of-5 shooting with 5 assist and a steal.

Drummond's 20/20 performance lifts Pistons over Timberwolvs

The Good: Andre Drummond. Andre Drummond put on a show for the home crowd as he collected another 20/20 game on the season. In 36 minutes, Drummond finished with 22 points, 21 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 blocked shots against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 6'10 center did this while shooting the ball efficiently going 8-of-14 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line in the win.

The Bad: Thad Young. Thad Young chucked his way to a 22 point game against the Detroit Pistons. Young needed 20 shots to score his 22 points as he went 8-of-20 from the field in 27 minutes. Young did have a team high 13 rebounds but his hero ball killed any momentum the Timberwolves had down the stretch as the Pistons took advantage of Young's selfish play to get the victory.

X-Factor: D.J. Augustin. D.J. Augustin continued his impressive run as a starter as he notched a double-double against the T-Wolves. Augustin put in 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting to go along with 3 rebounds and a game high 10 assist. Augustin only had 3 turnovers for the game as he set up his teammates for easy buckets all night long.

Rookie Watch: Andrew Wiggins. The number one overall pick filled up the stat sheet ina losing effort to the Pistons. In 31 minutes, Wiggins finished with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assist, 5 steals, and 2 blocked shots on 6-of-9 shooting. Maybe if was a little more aggressive on offensive, the Timberwolves could've won the game.
