NCAA Closes Investigation
BROOKLYN, NY - It has been 2 weeks since the NCAA began investigating Long Island's head coach Sean Powell for the use of PEDs with his players. After some hard search and effort by the staff working with the NCAA Coach Powell has been proven of using PEDs with his players. The dealer of the PEDs has been found and the players that have been involved in this "system" have also been figured out. Sources say that Coach Powell started giving his players PEDs after the first few weeks of the season, conveniently just before they began to win games. Sources say that the assistant coaches had no clue that this was going on and neither did the Athletic Director at the university. There were several several boosters that were involved in the program that helped to contribute to the payment of PEDs. As a result of the findings of the investigation the NCAA has suspended Coach Powell from collegiate basketball indefinitely. He is also going to be convicted for the use of illegal drugs. Since he is going to be removed as the head coach the interim head coach is going to be Patrick Samuelson, one of the assistant coaches. The players involved with this "system" were Mani Galbreath, Fred Kowalczuk, Jalon Ryan, Preston Wafer, and Stefan Norwood. The NCAA has yet to make a decision about what suspension these players are going to have. For the time being, the university has suspended these players for 4 games following the results of the investigation. Rumors say that these players are facing possible expulsion from the university and no possibility to play college basketball again.
