Hey guys, lost interest in my Milwaukee dynasty. Philly will be more of a challenge and I think it will help to keep me dedicated to it. Plus the roster is a lot of fun and has tons of potential. Starting this with the end of season rosters with no injuries so it's a fresh start for everyone. Should be fun! Please give me a few posts for reserves but after that you can post!

Philadelphia 76ers 2014-15 Season Preview
19 wins won't cut it this season
Written by Amber Jackson, NBA.com Analyst

In the NBA, rarely is a contender built overnight. After winning just 19 games last season and turning in the league’s second worst record, the Philadelphia 76ers will enter this season with minuscule expectations. While another 19-win season may not necessarily be in the cards, it probably is not outside of the realm of possibility.

NBA.com is going to take a quick look at the Sixers and we'll size them up to see how they stack up this year.

Keys to the Sixers season:

Embrace the tank: Philadelphia won’t be good, but that’s by design. The decision has been made to have solely young and developing players on the roster — both as a plan for long-term improvement, as well as a way to take advantage of the draft lottery system that’s currently in place by losing enough games to get a chance at landing one of the top picks in next summer’s draft.

Nerlens Noel: The Sixers prize of the 2013 draft sat out all of last season, even though from a health standpoint he was ready to go, and could have played in games that counted in the latter part of the season. Head coach Brett Brown could often be seen on the main court working out Noel personally on game nights, which is rare for head coaches at the NBA level. But it shows just how much player development is in the forefront in this current incarnation of the Sixers, and now we’ll see whether or not the entire season of rehabilitation and teaching has paid off, along with finding out just how good Noel’s prospects are of being one of the franchise’s long sought after cornerstones.

Robert Covington: The 6'9'', 215lb forward has the potential to be a diamond in the rough. His frame and build are prototypical of the NBA SF. He can shoot, drive, rebound, and is steadily improving on defense. The combination of Wroten running the one, and Covington sitting on the perimeter will be a force to be reckoned with if Covington can do at the NBA level what he did in the D-League this past summer. Look for him to post a 13/5 season for the lowly Sixers.

Why you should watch: Wroten and Noel should be all kinds of fun, and with Embiid on the court, that’s a lot of young talent with star potential that you can begin to follow in its extremely early stages.

Prediction: (20-62) aka Pain. But only in the short-term, hopefully.
