I know I just seem to get lucky against duke and since they're my favorite team irl you can expect at least one matchup a year and it seems to be forming quite a rivalry.

Iowa dismantles Cornell's defense

Cornell was given its second loss of the season today at Iowa. Iowa's offense was to much to handle the whole entire game as they could not be stopped. Even with Cornells offense playing very efficiently their defense was so bad that they were losing 57-38 at the half. Throughout the game to keep pace with Iowa Cornell used a lineup where Cressler was at the 4 and Miller at the 3. This lineup was used exclusively in the second and it worked as Cressler could not be stopped by the large opposition. The big red continued to score but Iowa could not be stopped as they went on to score 47 in the second. The final score was 104-75 Iowa.

Nolan Cressler was simply sensational with a career high 39 points to go along with 4 rebounds. Lamore had a highly effective game off the bench with 11 points. Shonn Miller was a non-factor as he had a goose egg and only 4 rebounds. Miller has bean very streaky this year and has been ineffective on the boards recently. Cherry also had a game high 13 assists.

Iowa (2-2) Cornell (6-2).

Cornell will play Long beach state next week.

Cornell Takes on #14 Villanova

The entire game was very back and forth. No team could take control and there was almost countless lead changes. Villanova clearly played better but the score continued to be close. With 15 seconds left with the game tied at 75 and Villanova has the ball then shoots the ball and it...... Goes in Villinova takes a 77-75. With 4 seconds left the only person open is Shonn Miller shoots a three as time expires and it goes INNNN! Cornell takes down #14 Villanova.

Cornell was led by a huge performance from Onuorah with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Cressler also had a big night with 23 points and 4 rebounds. Shonn Miller had 14 points and 7 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks. Cherry had a game high 5 assists.

Cornell (11-3).
