We're just two days and one game into the 2014-2015, but Stan Van Gundy is already calling for change. A big one! He traded jump shooting Brandon Jennings away to Phoenix after a solid opening night performance to acquire the elite slasher and elite that is Eric Bledsoe.

Positive: Eric Bledsoe is younger, a better scorer, defender, athlete and is a good rebounding guard. His driving ability will create open looks for others.

Negative: Eric Bledsoe is locked into a five year $70M contract, while Brandon Jennings was only making $16 over the course of this season and next. The Pistons biggest weakness was already floor spacing and long range shooting, but for some reason we decided to make matters worse by trading away our best shooter for a slashing guard who struggles holding on to the ball.

The unfair playoff seeding will be argued more than ever before after what happened this season. The Houston Rockets finished six games over .500 and missed the playoffs with in the West a 43-39 record while the Eastern Conference bracket features three teams with losing records in 6th seed Detroit Pistons, 7th seed Charlotte Hornets, and 8th seed Brooklyn Nets.
