The Good: Jeremy Lin. Linsanity was in FULL effect tonight against the OKC Thunder. Jeremy Lin exploded for a career high 41 points with 5 rebounds, 10 assist, and 2 blocks in the Lakers 120-110 overtime win over the Thunder. Lin was attack mode all night as he went 17-of-32 from the field as he got the best of Russell Westbrook on both ends of the floor and even out-dualing Kevin Durant.
The Bad: Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook struggled on both ends of the floor against the Lakers. Westbrook allowed Jeremy Lin to go off for 41 points while he also let him shut him down on the other end. Westbrook finished with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assist, but he only shot 9-of-29 from the field including a woeful 1-of-12 from behind the arc in the loss.
X-Factor: Ed Davis. Ed Davis held his own against the defensive minded Serge Ibaka. In 32 minutes, Davis notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The former North Carolina Tar Heel finished the night going 5-of-7 from the field as he was a +8 for the game.
Rookie Watch: Jabari Brown and Mitch McGary. brown finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assist on 3-of-7 shooting in 18 minutes off the bench for the Lakers. McGary scored 2 points with 5 rebounds in 12 minutes of the OKC bench.
