Today the Tide face off against the Denver Nuggets in Tampa in the first game for the Nuggets. The Nuggets are looking to bounce back from a 17-41 season last year. On paper, the Nuggets and the Tide seem to be matched up pretty evenly. Although last week we said the Mavericks looked as though they were poised to shut down the Tide.
Game preview to follow:
What to watch for:
The collective eyes of every fan in St. Joseph's Arena will be on Zach Lavine as he makes his Tide debut. The fans will also be watching rookie big man Henry Ellenson after his amazing performance last week against the Mavericks. (Which he earned Eastern Conference Player of the Week for.)
The Challenge:
The Tide's biggest challenge this week, to shut down the scoring tandem of second year Point Guard Emmanuel Mudiay and veteran Power Forward Kenneth Faried. Unlike Dallas, Denver is also a young team that can keep up with the run'n'gun style the Tide employ.
One thing is for certain, Tide fans are in for a big game.
