First Half Story:

The first half was all Camels as the Camels jumped out to a 21-2 lead in the first three minutes led by two Chris Clemons threes and a great press set up by Coach Underwood. The Camels made it clear they were going to make SC Upstate force the ball past them by pressing hard early. The Spartens stole a inbounds play however and began to carve into Campbells lead getting to within 13 a one point. But Campbell pressed on and brought the lead back up to 19 and were up 46-27 at the half.


Second Half Story:
The second half although close in score was not interesting basketball, the Camels layed off the press and began wasting time by waiting until there was hardly any time on the shot clock and then trying to find a open three. By the end of the game Campbell won 66-45 and scored 20 vs SC Upstates 18 in the second half.

Reporter: Coach what have been your thoughts thus far this season?

Jabari: Very happy, I can't say that enough, my god we are 10 and 5 right now when experts picked us to be 5-10 at this point in the year. But with that said we could be better, we have lost several games against schools we could of beat.

Reporter: What has been your favorite thing about Coaching at Campbell?

Jabari: *Grabs his stomach, laughing* The food here, it's terrific, nothing like some good ole soul food.

Crowd: *laughs*

Reporter: Who has been your biggest suprise this season?

Jabari: Nehemiah Mabson, he was someone who early on I had at the 3 spot as a backup but looking at his game film, I felt he was better suited for a big man role and thought what a better game to experiment then vs South Carolina. Nehemiah filled the role and then some and has played excellent ever since.

Reporter: Do you expect to make March Madness this year?

Jabari: Woah, Woah slow down there, I know this is a cliche answer but we are taking things one game at a time, one play at a time.

Reporter: Lastly Coach, will D.J Mason be ready for the game vs Florida Gulf Coast?

Jabari: All signs point to yes, he is a pivital player and we are excited for him to get back on the court.

First Half Story
As expected the first half of Campbell vs Florida Gulf Coast was a war zone. Starting off right away as Chris Clemons layed a hard foul on Jonathan Milligans as he shot a jump shot. The first half was plagued with fouls for both teams just Campbell did not capitalize Campbell shot 3/12 from the line while FGCU shot 14/15. Clemons of Campbell was the main reason they were still in the game as Clemons scored 12 points in the first half along with racking up 4 fouls on himself. D.J Mason made a triumph return scoring 9 pts in the first half. FGCU leads 42-40 at the break.

Second Half Story
FGCU comes out strong as Campbell has to leave Mabson and Clemons on the bench due to foul trouble. By the 10 minute mark the Eagles are up 62-52. But then Campbell's press began to work and FGCU got sloppy as D.J Mason became a animal, Mason would score eight points to bring the Camels to within two then a Allen three would take the lead. Clemons would return to the game and add 8 more points including a clutch fade away jumper. The game was back and fourth until Campbell made a run to get up seven with 3 minutes to go. The Eagles didn't give up however and brought the score to within 3 with 36 seconds to go.

Eagles to rebound Eagles pressing Milligan shoots a THREE! MISS REBOUND FILIP PASSES OUT TO TUCKER FOR THE TIE! MISS! CAMELS WIN! CAMELS WIN!
