Chicago Bulls| Cap Room: $0.5M

B.J. Irving.jpg
Face of the NBA, B.J. Irving, pursues a title this season.

Quick Points:

1. The Bulls have the luxury of having a big 3 of B.J. Irving, Branden Ford, and Damien Augmon on the team. Not many other teams can match that amount of talent.

2. The aforementioned B.J. Irving has the ability to simply takeover and dominate games. One of, if not the best players in the league.

3. The Bulls have the marquee talent and enough of a supporting cast to be at the lead of teams being discussed to win the title. The only question about this team is its commitment to defense. If they can remain solid on that end, expect them to be in the Finals.

Starting Five

Branden Ford| 23| 5yr/$84.5M
Might be the hardest player in the NBA to defend 1-on-1. Electrifying scorer at the lead guard position.

Eddy Sapida| 28| 1yr/$3.1M
Will be tasked of spacing the floor. Is more than capable of doing so.

B.J. Irving| 29| 3yr/$95.0M
Face of the NBA. Dominates the game in all areas. Title hungry.

Damien Augmon| 25| 3yr/$60.7M
The low-profile member of the Chicago Big 3. A more than capable scorer at the PF position. Can stretch the floor and is solid defensively.

Alan Boyd| 32| 2yr/$12.0M
Every championship hopeful team needs a little muscle. Alan Boyd is the enforcer on this squad.

Key Reserves:

Johnathan Hamre| 28| 1yr/$14.5M
Mid-range pick and pop forward. Could start on most teams.

Raja Maravich| 31| 2yr/$10.5M
Long-range sniper.

Sean McDaniels| 26| 3yr/$15.9M
Scoring threat on the low block. Provides decent rim protection.

Bottomline:

The Chicago Bulls are primed to compete for a title this season. A deep run into the playoffs is expected and should be the case for this team. They are in need for a backup point guard and will probably try to acquire one before the league's deadline. Fans in the Windy City have every right to have their hopes sky-high.

Cleveland Cavaliers| Cap Room: $2.3M

Wade Robinson.jpg
Two way star, Wade Robinson looks forward to winning it all this season.

Quick Points:

1. Cleveland enters the season with an experienced and well balanced roster. There aren't many holes in the makeup of this team.

2. Wade Robinson and Freddy Lowe, 31 and 33 respectively, are still able to get the job done on both ends even at their age. The two are still some of the best at their positions in the NBA.

3. The supporting cast around Cleveland's two stars is more than sufficient on paper. They provide defense, shooting and rebounding.

Starting Five

Frankie Chase| 27| 1yr/$6.5M
Quality NBA starting point guard on both ends of the floor. Solid.

Wade Robinson| 31| 4yr/$107.0M
One the league's best 2-guards. Also of the league's best 2-way players even though he is over 30. Capable of taking control of a game late.

Dillon Peeler| 24| 2yr/$13.0M
Big, strong, young, and athletic on the wing. Great defedner.

Jerry Adrien| 29| 3yr/$10.5M
Cleans the glass and protects the paint. Old school forward.

Freddy Lowe| 33| 2yr/$43.5M
Still in the discussion as the league's best center. Extremely skilled.

Key Reserves:

Don Bledsoe| 27| 3yr/$40.5M
Tall sharpshooting specialist.

Michael Clemons| 29| 1yr/$2.5M
Savy, skilled veteran wing. Capable shooter.

Howie Kaman| 28| 1yr/$5.5M
Interior defender with 3 point range.

Billy Jennings| 22| 3yr/$8.0M
Deadly shooter with deep range.

Bottomline:

The roster in Cleveland has talent, experience, and leadership. The team is built to make deep run into the playoffs. The Cavs can play a variety of styles offensively and should be one of the best devensive teams in the association. With their core aging, the window is closing in Cleveland. Expect them to be in serious contention for it all this year.

Thanks for the support man! Really means alot to read that someone else is enjoying the roster. Will continue this dynasty throughout the summer.

And to answer you question in An earlier post:
I think that Orlando, Toronto, Phoenix, and Minnesota (If you decide to trade Dylan Padgett) are good rebuild projects.

Indiana Pacers| Cap Room: $10.5M

Stanley Cartwright.jpg
Stanley Cartwright will look to shoot his team into the playoffs this year.

Quick Points:

1. Looking for a middle of the road NBA Franchise? You've found it in the Indiana Pacers.

2. The Pacers are led by 30 year old sharpshooter, Stanley Cartwright. He can fill it up with the best of them once he is in a rhythm.

3. As it stands at the beginning of the season, Indiana will have almost $40 million of cap room this offseason. The front office will aim to bring in a star player if the team doesn't get the job done this year.

Starting Five

Louie Bowman| 27| 1yr/$9.0M
Reliable 2-way point guard with a consistent 3 point stroke.

Stanley Cartwright| 30| 4yr/$88.0M
3 level scorer. Cartwright is one of the best deep ball shooters in the game and is more than capable of creating his own shot. Will be tasked to carry the Pacers offensively.

Karl Willis| 21| 3yr/$8.4M
Young, defensive minded wing player. Still making his 3 point shot more consistent.

Harry Vaughn| 27| 2yr/$26.0M
Talented forward who can score in a variety of ways. Also holds his own on the defensive end and cleaning the glass.

Alex Tyus| 23| 2yr/$9.0M
Plays good interior defense.

Key Reserves:

Chuck Jinks| 28| 4yr/$40.0M
Jinks is one the best at coming in off the bench and quickly creating points for his team.

Simon Anderson| 23| 3yr/$4.5M
Big, strong and athletic wing. The potential is there to become a solid NBA player. More of a 3 & D guy right now.

Joshua Doleac| 28| 1yr/$10.0M
Stretch big who plays solid defense.

Marquez Haynes| 26| 2yr/$8.0M
Reliable backup point guard with a decent 3 point stroke in catch and shoot situations. Savvy playmaker.

Bottomline:

As a whole, there is a lot to like about this year's Pacer team. They look solid in all areas of the game on paper. The elephant in the room on this team is the absence of a top-flight NBA talent to put them over the top in the playoffs. Stanley Cartwright and Harry Vaughn are both good at what they do, but it's hard to imagine winning a title with those two as your best players. Nevertheless, expect the Pacers to compete for a playoff spot this season, and who knows maybe Cartwright can get hot for a series or two.
