Hello and welcome to RJ1992's Fantasy Draft 2k18 MyGM

First, off I had tried making a 2k18 MyGM dynasty as the Atlanta Hawks using real life rosters and then tried making a Minnesota Timberwolves MyLeague starting in the offseason but I just couldn't get into them. One thing that usually solves this problem for me is doing a fantasy draft MyGM. As such I haven't documented and stuck with one of my franchises/dynasties/MyGMs in a long time but hope to do so with this one. I hope I'll finally have the time to keep up with this and not get side tracked by all the goings-ons of my life such as personal/family life, work, and college. Something I am going to try different in this franchise is that I will not be mentioning settings or ratings. The one thing I will be mentioning is that I am personally going to edit the fantasy draft order so that the worst team in the league last year gets the first overall pick and the best team gets the last. Finally, I will be focusing solely/mainly on the Detroit Pistons as that is the team I am going to be the general manger of/for.

Western Conference Finals, May 17, 2011

Robert Osmond injuries himself playing for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 Western Conference Finals. He has an diagnosis of a full tear off the anterior cruciate ligament and partial tears of the posterior cruciate ligament and collateral cruciate ligament. His playing career is officially over following this gruesome injury.

Flash Forward Six Years

Robert Osmond has been named the new general manager of the Detroit Pistons. He will lead the team forth in the NBA's 1st ever fantasy draft here in 2017.

GM Robert Osmond meets with Pistons owner Lee Oliver. On the way in he meets and greets Pistons' star player, Kyrie Irving, and head coach, Stan Van Gundy. Osmond is told my Mr. Oliver that he will be holding a press conference at 2pm today.

New Pistons' GM, Robert Osmond, is asked by the media what is vision and goals for the team are moving forward. Osmond replies that minor tweaks to the roster are needed in order to get the team to where they wish it to be. Next, Osmond is asked whether or not he has faith in Van Gundy or if he will be bringing in his own coaching staff. Osmond replies that he has total faith and confidence in Van Gundy.
