The Coaching Career of Lukas Grey (NCAA Basketball 10)

Lukas Grey, son of the legendary English football coach Taylor Grey, born in the year of our Lord 1984. He grew up in a flat in the south of Sunderland, a city in the north of England. As a young child, he watched the Sunderland Saints play basketball in the British Basketball League, and aspired to become a legendary coach in Britain. Following the Saints' rebranding and eventual move to Newcastle, Lukas became somewhat disillusioned with the British Basketball League, and wanted to focus on other items. His father Taylor had encouraged Lukas to take up football, but he wouldn't bite, and instead tried to master basketball.

Cue the year 1999. After financial hardships, Taylor was forced to accept a job in the United States, at the age of 15 Lukas would be sent to America, a country where he felt destined to succeed in the world of basketball. He had become a fan of the local team, Montana State University, despite their low stature in the college basketball world. Lukas wanted to change that.

In university he attended Montana State, and became a colossal fan of their team, but decided to get into coaching, and hoped an opportunity would present itself...

Re: The Coaching Career of Lukas Grey (NCAA Basketball 10)

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the new coach of your Montana State Fighting Bobcats!"

July 17, 2009: Montana State inked a contract with 25-year-old Lukas Grey. The contract, which has not been released yet to the public, was signed in the past hour, and is the result of around two weeks worth of negotiations. Last season Montana State finished 15-15 overall and 7-9 in the Big Sky, and returns leading scorer Doug Whitehead, a junior who averaged 18.8 points per game last season and 4.1 assists per game. Ray Watkins and Eric Terrell are two post players which will help anchor the interior game for the Fighting Bobcats.

October 30, 2009: On the final day of the Big Sky Conference media preview for Men's Basketball, Montana State has been voted in as the top expected pick to win the conference. This is a veteran team which will start two seniors and three juniors, and returns stud Doug Whitehead. Other teams in close consideration for the top sport are Portland State and Northern Arizona, which finished with eleven first place votes and nine first place votes respectively, neither of which topping the twenty-four votes received by Montana State. Montana is at number four on the list, followed by Idaho State, and Weber State, all projected to be rated as a 'C' according to ESPN. The bottom three are Eastern Washington, Sacramento State, and Northern Colorado, all being rated as a 'C-'.
