Welcome everyone. I am starting a Los Angeles Clippers dynasty. I got a bit worn out with my football one with the London Black Knights. I hope to bring you guys an even better basketball dynasty.

I believe the Los Angeles Clippers are an interesting team and franchise altogether. The amount of top 10 draft picks this franchise has had in the past is ridiculous in itself, but also the amount of players that drafted so highly ended up not panning out for the franchise. It could have been scouting and play re-evaluation, head coaching, general manager. Who knows.

It's just been a cycle of disappointments, let downs, bad luck, glimpse of promises here and there for this franchise.

Then in 2014, the franchise hit an all-time low when then owner was recorded having racist conversations that just made the franchise flat out look bad.

They’ve had their runs though the past few years of playoff clinching seasons but not enough to get them deep into the playoffs.

And oh yea, they’ve always been little brother to the Los Angeles Lakers and their intimidating championship banner to where the Clippers do not have one to hang their pride on.

So, my attempt will be to do something with this franchise, turn them into winners and change this culture that has been mediocre and finally get them over that ‘hump’.

I will reserve a few posts.

This will pick up at the start of this season.

Is Doc Rivers on the hot seat?

Most certainly! Not saying it’s championship or you’re fired but we need a deep playoff run….like really deep. Losing Chris Paul is going to be tough so leaning on Blake Griffin will be pivotal. But Doc needs to get the rest of the team to play at a high level.

With Doc as coach, we’ve won 50 plus games in each of his four season but twice we lost in the Conference Semifinals and the past two season we’ve been bounced in the first round.

Will DeAndre Jordan and Danilo Gallinari remain a Clipper for the whole year?

Definitely a valid question. He is on the hook for this season and holds the option for next season. He would go from $22.64 million to $24.12 million if he opts to stay with the Clippers. To me, I’m not sold that he is worth this much money but his presence down in the paint is valuable but becomes a liability late in the game in a free throw situation.

Speaking of salary, Danilo Gallinari makes an absurd amount of money and is signed through the 19-20 season. Gallinari was signed after he played with Denver for the past 7 seasons. Over $20 million a season, I need to see the same production if not better than what he showed in Denver.
