Hakeem, Sonics Hold Off Jordan, Hammers in 119-117 Barn Burner

Hakeem's 47 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocks led the Sonics to a victory against the Hammers.

Michael Jordan's 37 points and 8 assists weren't enough as the Hammers fell short.

Hang in there man... with Hakeem the Dream is still alive... The stars will come to join him. Get a good draft pick and develop guys like Robinson III this year.

Thanks.

I guess I could've gone the route the Hammers went during free agency after last season. They signed some good veteran pieces to put around MJ in DeAndre Jordan, Isaiah Thomas, Will Barton, and Amir Johnson. I decided to go with another tank-like season and just hope for the best. I like Glenn Robinson as a potential longterm bench wing, but my favorite non-Hakeem longterm prospect right now is Archie Goodwin. After Sindarius Thornwell got hurt and about three weeks into the season I realized I had a bunch of PF/C type players but was in bad need of another wing. So I signed Archie for the remainder of the year and he's averaging 11 PPG on 62% TS in the 29 games he's played for me.

Yeah it's very tempting to sign IT for example as he's from Seattle, but I like the course you've taken.

Wow had no idea Goodwin had that potential for efficency, that's insane, will def have a look at him next time I'm using an uptodate myleague!!
