Clip Show: Becoming LA's Beloved NBA 2k19

Welcome! This will be a 30 team controlled nba 2k19 MyLeague, my main squad will be, as the title says the LA Clippers, the ugly step child of Los Angeles. I will be controlling the trades, FA signings and the draft, as well as lineup configuration for the other 29 teams, just to keep a sense of realism and prevent unrealistic trades/FA signings that make no sense etc.


I plan to super-sim every Clippers game, and will jump in if the score is close in the late 3rd or 4th. I normally turn injuries off, but since I'm controlling all 30 and making this a long haul dynasty, they will be on. In the coming days, I will begin posting updates, including final roster, depth chart, rotation for the Clippers.


I am by no means a professional at this, so bear with me in the speed/template of the posting, I hope to make it as fun as I can for everyone! This is something I've been wanting to do for some time, and bought 2k19 for half off on PSN during a black Friday sale the other day!

I will be posting periodically about certain aspects though, such as Kawhi Leonard free agency, should he stay in TOR, or come to LA and if so, LAC or LAL etc. and let some feedback come in so I'm not being too unfair for either myself or a CPU team.

Absolutely is! I welcome the feedback! And hope I can put out a fun dynasty experience once I get past the growing pains. Starting it up tmrw and will be posting roster and rotations and season outlook/direction as well

2019 Outlook for the Clippers:

Gone are the days of the "Lob City" Clippers, as the last remnants of that was signed away to Dallas, CP3, Blake and DeAndre never quite got over the hump that many expected from them. So over the last couple years, the Clippers have moved on from those 3, trading CP3 and Blake and received some pretty solid pieces in return. CP3 trade netted the Clippers a solid big man in Montrezl Harrell, who we look to expect big things from in some expanded minutes, as for the Blake trade, Tobias Harris has the potential to be a really good wing player for the Clippers, though he is due for a new contract and will shoot up in price without a doubt. The biggest piece that excites me from this team is rookie guard Shai Gilegous Alexander, a 6'6 combo guard for us to hopefully build around. As for assets, the team has very few tradable assets, but the biggest one is veteran sixth man Lou Williams, who would be a big upgrade for many contending teams. We have some big decisions to make for the Clippers to make them into a legitimate contender and takeover LA.
