BOSTON CRUSHES INDIANA, 5 CELTICS SCORE 20+ POINTS

BOSTON IS 52-24 AND IN 2ND PLACE IN THE EAST

CELTICS INJURY REPORT

JAYLEN BROWN WILL MISS 6-8 WEEKS WITH RIGHT KNEE TENDINITIS

Boston's shot at the top seed in the East and their likelihood for success in the playoffs, in general, suffers a huge blow with the loss of Jaylen Brown for the next month and a half. Stevens will give more minutes to Rozier and hope that he can fill Brown's shoes. Also, look to young guys like Semi Ojeleye and Robert Williams to get some more meaningful minutes as the season winds down.

PLAYOFF PICTURE

We're down to the final week of the season, so let's take a look at which playoff seeds are up for grabs and the remaining schedule for each team who is still jockeying for position.

EAST

1) Toronto - The Raptors don't quite have the top seed just yet. However, they're final three games are all very winnable so they should end up 1st in the East.

CHA
MIA
@ MIN

Key Injuries - Jamal Crawford 6-8 weeks

2) Boston - The C's need to almost win out in order to catch the Raptors, also the 76ers haven't been mathematically eliminated from getting the 2nd seed just yet.

@ IND
ORL
@ WSH

Key Injuries - Jaylen Brown 4-6 weeks

3) Philadelphia - Philly has the 3rd seed locked up. They have a shot at the 2nd seed but they would need the red hot Celtics to have an epic collapse so that they could pass them up.

MIL
@ CHI
@MIA
CHI

Key Injuries - J.J. Redick 1-2 weeks, Stanley Johnson 1-2 weeks

4) Detroit - The Pistons have four games left and barring a huge collapse they should have home court in the 1st round on lock.

@ OKC
vs CHA
vs MEM
@ NYK

5) Milwaukee - The Bucks still have a shot at the 4th seed but will have to almost win out and hope that Detriot loses out in order to lock up home court.

@ PHI
BRK
ATL
OKC

Key Injuries - Brook Lopez 2-4 weeks

6) Indiana - The Pacers are only a half game behind the Bucks so the 5th seed is in sight.

BOS
BRK
@ATL

Key Injuries - Mike Conley Day-to-Day

7) Miami - The Heat should be locked into the 7th seed but they have an outside chance at the 6th if Indiana losses out and they win out. However, that's unlikely considering that they have the toughest last week out of any of the playoff-eligible teams.

@ MIN
@ TOR
vs PHI
@ BRK

Key Injuries - Dwyane Wade 1-2 months, Goran Dragic Season

8) Washington - Washington needs to continue to win their last few games so they can hold off the Nets for the final playoff spot.

SAS
@ NYK
BOS

9) Brooklyn - The Nets are two games behind Washington but considering their remaining schedule, they would need a miracle to get in.

@ MIL
@ IND
MIA

1) Houston - Houston is tied with L.A. for the top seed and their schedule is much easier down the stretch. At this point, it's theirs to lose

LAC
NYK
PHX
@ OKC

Injury Report - Clint Capela 6-8 weeks

2) L.A. Lakers - THe Lakers and LeBron want that top seed but they have a very tough schedule remaining so falling out of the top 2 is a possibility, as well.

GSW
@ LAC
UTA
POR

3) Golden State - The Warriors still have a shot at the 2nd or even 1st seed but they would have to pass up two hot teams in order to get it. Also, OKC is still on their heels, and Utah is still in play for the 3rd seed, as well.

@ LAL
CLE
LAC
@ NOP
@ MEM

Injury Report - Jonas Jerebko Season

4) Oklahoma City - OKC is only a half game out of the 3rd seed and has Utah nipping at their heels. However, with the loss of Westbrook, OKC really just wants to hang on to home court, at this point.

DET
@ MIN
HOU
@ MIL

Injury Report - Russell Westbrook Season, Raymond Felton 1-2 weeks

5) Utah - The Jazz can't drop lower than 5th but would love to get home court in the 1st Round. If everything goes their way they can still get as high as the 3rd seed.

@ PHX
SAC
@ LAL
DEN
@ LAC

Injury Report - Joe Ingles 4-6 weeks

6) Denver - The Nuggets are in the driver seat for the 6th seed but the Spurs and Kings are right on the heels at only a half game back.

SAS
POR
@ POR
MIN

7) San Antonio - The Spurs are still fighting for their playoff lives but can get as high as the 6th seed. Their schedule down the stretch is very favorable so anything less than the 6th seed will be a disappointment.

@ DEN
@ WSH
@ CLE
DAL

8) Sacramento - The Kings are currently in the 8th seed but they're only a half game out of the 6th seed. Also, the Blazers aren't out of it yet at 3.5 games back.

CLE
@ UTA
NOP
@POR

9) Portland - The Blazers have a tough row to hoe but they're still alive. Although, they have to win out and hope for a lot of help.

MEM
@ DEN
DEN
@ LAL
SAC

Injury Report - Jusuf Nurkic Season, Marcin Gortat 1-2 weeks

Always love this time of year where the seeding is still up for grabs at almost every spot. Going to make for some interesting playoff match-ups.
