Re: The New Greats

The Draft

1. Detroit Pistons select... Mike Cliff
-- Tons of Potential. Looking to be in the starting role

2. New York Knicks select... Simon Boone
-- Best 3-pointer in the draft

3. Indiana Pacers select... Scott Silver
-- Averaged 29.3 points in Boston College

4. The Minnesota Timberwolves select... Rene Page
-- Best Basketball IQ in the whole draft.

5. The New Orleans Pelicans select... Noah Jackson
-- Averaged 3.2 steals per game and led the nation last year

6. The Chicago Bulls select...
We have a trade to announce!
The Chicago Bulls trade: 2020 1st (#6), Cristiano Felicio (C)
The Detroit Pistons trade: 2021 1st (Top 5 Protected), Blake Griffin (PF)
With drafting Cliff, the Pistons now have an excuse to trade Griffin. Detroit goes for the rebuild while Chicago goes for the championship

6. The Detroit Pistons select... Jimmy Green
-- Detroit just drafted both the top centers in the draft. Green excels at rebounding averaging 13.7 last year.

8. The Phoenix Suns select... Gus Axis
-- The biggest jump of the draft. Everyone was certain that Axis would go 26th, but the Suns decided to chance it.

11. The Atlanta Hawks select... Djordje Krsmanovic
-- The Hawks hope that Krsmanovic's 3's will bring more to the table. He hit the most NBA threes then anyone at the Combine

12. The San Antonio Spurs select... Zack Knight
-- Known for his speed, he is the fastest with and without the ball

13. The Utah Jazz select...
We have a trade to announce!
The Utah Jazz trade: 2020 Pick (13th overall), Ed Davis (C)
The Charlotte Hornets trade: Miles Bridges (SF), Cody Martin (SF)

13. The Charlotte Hornets select... Jacob Jackson
-- The Hornets selected Jacob Jackson and believe in him. He is a player that every team will be chasing.

15. The Orlando Magic select...
We have a trade to announce!
The Orlando Magic trade: 2020 Pick (15th overall)
The San Antonio Spurs trade: 2022 1st (Top 5 protected), Rudy Gay (PF)

16. The Miami Heat select... Jared Bond
-- Love this pick by the Heat. With Dragic a free agent, Bond will become a perfect backup to Kendrick Nunn.

17. The Oklahoma City Thunder select... R.J. Barrington
-- Great pick by the Thunder. Chris Paul is 35 and can be expected to teach Barrington the tricks to becoming a starter.

18. The Charlotte Hornets select... Ty Bonne
-- Nobody knows to much about Bonne. They will have to "trust the process". He is also excited to team up with Jacob Jackson. Look forward to these two teaming up.

20. The Sacramento Kings select... Andy Spike
-- Injury Riddled, the Kings decided to risk it and give Spike the chance he deserves.

23. The Portland Trail Blazers select...
We have a trade to announce!
The Portland Trail Blazers trade: 2020 pick (23rd overall)
The Sacramento Kings trade: Nemanja Bjelica (PF)

24. The Dallas Mavericks select... Nuka Seyde
-- Great pick by Dallas. Seyde is a pure 3point player.

36. The Memphis Grizzlies select... Alex Goldsmith
-- Going in the 2nd round, Goldsmith has alot to prove. He had the bext mid range shot of any PF in the draft. Hopefully he can pull his weight.
