NBA 2K - Georgiafan's 3 year realistic rebuilds / remasters

I got 7 - which proposes the Dallas Mavericks.

If that causes issues, my next roll was 19 - New Orleans Pelicans.

Dallas works for me, I'll grab some info for them and post it tomorrow. The standings and everything will be current to real life. Will be interesting to see how you get Luka some help.

I know they have some meh contracts so should be a challenge. Since the 2 expansion teams will be added maybe that will help getting rid of one of the bad contracts.

Alright looking for some opinions here

Spoiler alert the top 2 picks in the draft class will be Victor Wembanyama and Shaq. What do you think the overalls should be?

Should one be rated higher than the other? For a reminder Shaq his rookie year averaged 23 points,14 rebounds, 3.5 blocks on 60% shooting. I don't see Victor duplicating those stats his rookie year, but could be wrong?

Shaq is an all-time player who we know will be awesome. Victor seems tantalizing but hasn't done anything yet. I think Shaq has to be rated higher.

I think the overalls are pretty close for me I just wanted to get a second opinion since this will set up the next 3 years. I think now Shaq's a 84 and Victor like a 80. That would be rookie Shaq with the Ayton's and Capela's and below Bam. Then Victor maybe a point or so to low to start off, but its hard to judge him.

Trade Alert

Trade season is underway and here are 2 deals to get us started. We aren't expecting a major deadline. Teams are reluctant to attach draft picks to move off bad $ with the expansion teams on the way.


Clippers Thoughts
They needed another big with Zubac the only real C on the roster. They are in win now mode and Boston wasn't going to play. They can pick up Bamba's contract or sign to a longer deal.

Magic Thoughts
They have a ton of big guys so this removes the log jam of PF/C. They add a wing which is more of a position of need with Gary Harris / Ross likely to be bought out or traded. Boston has B+ athleticism , defense and young so could be real piece. Also pick up a pair of 2nds and add a trade exception.

Cavs Thoughts
Desperate need of a SF with Levert injured so Richardson will start. A solid vet 3 and defender that's more of a shooter then Okoro.

Spurs Thoughts
Richardson clearly doesn't fit the time line and was on a expiring contract. They get a few 2nd round picks and help out the tank job. Osmon will get some minutes off the bench.

Shocked to see DLo in Tier 4. There is no way a sane GM gives up multiple firsts for an defensive liability, imo
