Banchero Returns

Orlando got some good news as Banchero has returned and Shaq about 2 weeks behind him. We will take a quick look at the rotations as Love sees his minute go down and Perez go up. Orlando went 10-12 without him and would currently be in the play in tournament. Orlando isn't in love with Boston as he can't shoot the 3 or defend, but is hot and scoring fairly well so stays in the lineup.

During his 1st game back Orlando beats a finally good Detroit team. He showed no sign of rust with 20-10-7 joining 3 others scoring over 20 points.

Shaq Returns

We had to a full game breakdown of this one as star C Shaq returns to action. It's also a Christmas day game vs the Lakers. Who have plenty of big-name guys to go along with Lebron and Anthony Davis. They have DeAngelo Russell, Beasley, Nurkic much improved Dennis Smith and the now injuries Buddy Hield and Jarred Vanderbilt.

A Slow star for Shaq who misses his first 4 shots and its a back-and-forth half. Banchero gets hot scoring 7 points in the minute before halftime.

Vanvleet hits a 3 to tie the game in the late 3rd and Orlando is down by 3 going into the 4th. That lead would increase 1 point in the mid 4th. Lebron is guarding Shaq and that's a matchup in our favor and its back to being tied. AD dunks it to give them the 3 point lead with 2 minutes left.

VanVleet picks up the loose rebound and hits Banchero for the dunk and we now have a 1-point lead with 1:38 to go. DeAngelo Russell hits a huge 3 on the next possession. Then he scores again next time and now we are down 2 with just 36 seconds remaining. Banchero gets a dunk then AD steps out of bounds and here comes overtime

AD picks up his 5th foul early on and still tied 2 minutes into OT. Then Lavine goes down with a injury later on we found out he will miss 2-4 weeks. Orlando just can't catch a break health wise. AD picks up his final foul and its tied 2 minutes to go. The teams swap 3's and still tied 42 seconds to go. Banchero missed a layup and now we go to double OT.

Vanvleet misses a big open 3. Shaq goes to the FT down 2 with 25 seconds to go and misses both. DeAngelo clinches the game with a 3 a tough loss that Orlando let slip away.
