Thybulle vs Murray
Thybulle was brought in for his ability to guard the other teams best wing scorer in the playoffs. If Denver is going to pull the upset they will need Murray to score 20+ a game. If Thybulle is able to really slow him down this will be a short series.

Clarke vs Porter
This is interesting as Memphis is hoping Clarke can slow him down enough to allow Thybulle to be able to stick to guarding Murray. Porter is also a terrible defender and Clarke as the athleticism to beat you off the dribble. Memphis will live with Porter getting 20 a game they just don't want him going off. Jaren Jackson will guard him at times as well and his size and shot blocking could prevent some problems.

Liked seeing Isaac win defensive player of the year but with very poor stats. i was thinking he might be a decent addition to your team, but not based on those stats.

Did you edit the GM Names? Or are they in the next gen version?

You can make some noise in these playoffs if you get over Denver I think!

Denver is pretty tough But I'm not super worried about them they lack size and defense. I've got Thybulle matched up with Murray even on the games I sim. So the plan is to shut him down and just let Jokic and Porter get theirs.

Dallas does scare me the next round they added Drummond in FA and have seen progression from their wings. Its not going to be easy as Denver is just as highly rated when going by overalls then me. Anthony Davis got hurt the last few days of the regular season so LA doesn't really scare me unless he is back.

I would love to have Isaac he would be a perfect fit on defense as he plays PF and has like A- perimeter defense and B+ post. His offense stats are bad so that part would be tough with Thybulle. With Orlando missing the playoffs and kind of rebuilding i think they would give it another year before thinking about trading him. Isaac and Okeke both made all defense teams and are great building blocks for them along with Terry Porter. Since I control all the moves I think they next step for them is to trade Vucevic. Gordon is also a FA so I'm not sure what to do with him since he is blocked behind the F's. If they are able to nab a quality C in the lottery moving both Gordon and Vuc for draft picks could be the move.

I didn't edit any GM names, but I'm guessing the roster that I used did that. They changed a lot of things from the base roster file like lowering ratings, removing badges etc. Here is the link to the thread its on a few different platforms.

Nuggets Game 1

Memphis cruises to a easy 25 point win thanks to a big 1st half. The story of the night was Thybulle holding Murray to just 8 points on 3 of 10 shooting. Jonas surprisingly leads the way for Memphis with 24 points. Ja didn't score a lot, but filled the box score up with 7 rebounds and 14 assist. Jaren Jackson played great as well with 20 and 14. The benched all contributed with Bane and Melton playing better then you expected.

I don’t have a set lineup of exactly what I’ll do that’s probably something I need to figure out. Do you have any suggestions on what you do ? If works slow I’ll get all 3 games posted tomorrow.

Game 1 - was a full sim
Game 2 - I jumped in 2nd half
Game 3 - was a full sim
Game 4 - I played full game (just finished this now)

Nuggets Game 2

Jonas would foul out early in the 4th quarter. Jokic and Murray would be in foul trouble as well. Murray didn't foul out until the closing seconds of the game. Stefan hit back to back mid range jumpers and Memphis had a 6 point lead with 5 minutes to go. 1 minute later the play of the night was Thybulle hitting a corner 3 to make the lead to 10. With under 1 minute to go Thybulle would miss a layup. He then gets the steal right back gets fouled and hits both FT's. That made the lead 7 with just 26 seconds to go. A little later Denver would later answer with a 3 to cut the lead to 2. The 5'9 rookie then goes to the line up 2 with 8 seconds to go. He hits both FT's and Memphis takes a 2-0 lead.

Murray was a little better in this game scoring 18 he still was held to 33% shooting. He was outplayed by Gary Harris who is getting the start at the 3. Jokic did get 32 and 17, but only shoot 8 of 25. They need Gallo to step up without Bol Bol and he didn't.

It was a balanced game for Memphis with 8 guys scoring in double figures. Clark gets the player of the game with 18 points, 16 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks. He also held Porter in check on defense. Bane got the nod over Konchar as he came into the series hot. He had his 2nd straight good game in limited minutes. The backup G's of Melton and Stefan are more defense then offense they will need to shoot a little better then 4 of 19 going forward.

Nuggets Game 3

Denver gets their 1st win of the series in a close 5 point game. Jokic shoot almost identical to last game going 9 of 25 and hit all 10 FT's. Ja had his best scoring game with 28 with 4 others reaching double figures. Memphis only shoot 27% from 3. Mullin had a bad game only scoring 7 on 10 shots.
