2023 Opening Night

Its finally time to star playing some ball and Memphis starts it out with a win thanks to a huge 2nd half.

Former old friend Tyus Jones scores 20 and 11 for Toronto. He is getting the edge at PG in a 4 person race. FVV was held in check being guarded by Thybulle. Mullin was huge in this one scoring 37 on 15 three point attempts. Clark had a 20 & 10 night with JJJ and Ja being pretty quiet. Warren was good in his debut with 15 points. Stefan was fantastic dishing out 13 assets and scoring in double figures.

Yea looks like it is a franchise record. I didn’t have time to play the whole game so I just super simed it and jumped into it In the start of the 4th. When I did he had already hit 11 so it was all cpu. They had played him like 32 minutes so he hit sit about all of the 4th.

Great debut this season, just a few minutes for J.V. but I see that the contribution under the scoreboards was not lacking

He got a few less minutes then I have him set to I guess because I jumped into the 4th. He did his job and grabbed rebounds. On the 3rd game which I wont post the box score of he had like 20 points and 10 rebounds. So it looks like he won't have a problem adjusting to the bench and less minutes.

3 Games = 2 Records Broken

We are only 3 games into the season and two records have already been broken. On opening night Chris Mullin broke the 3 point record with 11. Then last night Jaren Jackson broke the franchise record for most points in a game with 49. The previous record had been held for 15 years by Mike Miller. Jaren could have scored even more, but missed the game winning buzzer beater. Then with the game in overtime he fouled out on the 1st possession.
