Dallas wins 131 to 120 despite Doncic shooting just 6 of 21 (with triple double). Tim Hardway scores 24.

#9 Trailblazers vs #10 Timberwolves
The blazers stay alive by 3 points as Lillard has 35 points on 11 of 20 shooting with 10 assist.

#7 Memphis vs #9 Trailblazers
Memphis barely hangs on winning by 1 point and avoids collapsing. Portland may have lost, but the fans are thinking they won. They now hold on to their 1st round pick as advancing would have just meant a quick exit against the 63-win Warriors. Memphis has 6 guys in double digits. Kyle Anderson who was in trade rumors early in the year stepped up 18-13-4.

The Bulls advance with a close 4-point win. Vucevic filled up the stat line 22-11-7 adding 2 steals and 3 blocks. The fans will be booing Randle who went just 3 of 13. This gives Chicago a winnable matchup vs the #2 Heat.

#9 76ers vs #10 Hawks
Atlanta gets embarrassed 122 to 94 and this could lead to some reshuffling this offseason. Ben Simmons gets a triple double and Tobas scores 28. Trae shoot just 6 of 22.

#7 Knicks vs #9 76ers
The Knicks advance to playoffs with a 8 point win. R.J Barrett and Fournier combined for 46.

Bucks Win Championship

Major Playoff Storylines

* The Bucks deserved this one as they were dominate all year winning over 60 games.

* Lakers were down 3 to 1 in round 1 then came back to win the series after moving Dwight Howard into the starting lineup. They defeated the 63-win warriors so not a bad season overall.

*Levine got hurt in round 1 and Chicago still managed to upset the Heat.

* Warriors struggled needing OT in round 1 to beat Memphis then losing in 5 games in round 2.

* Durant got hurt in game 3 of the ECF and didn't return. They were already down 0-2 so likely wouldn't have come back to beat the Bucks

* Utah had terrible luck with injuries in round 2 losing Gobert and Whiteside. Later on Clarkson even got hurt still they managed to go to 6 games.

* Kawhi didn't return for the playoffs would have been healthy for round 2.

Lottery Results

In rare news nothing too crazy happened with the lottery results and it was pretty close to chalk

Winners

Pistons
They jump from #4 all the way to #1 and get the #2 option to team with last years 1st overall pick Cade Cunningham. Its likely to come down to 7'2 big man Cody Pierce or versatile F Len Bias

Pelicans
Some teams have all the luck and they go from maybe make the playoffs and play in all the way to #4. A lot of directions they can go in and this is a heck of a luxury pick. They may look to trade it for a win now player or grab defense specialists Ron Harper.

76ers / Hawks
Even though they got the pick they were projected to get. They are both teams with enough talent to make a deep playoff push and end up with a lottery pick. The 76ers may look to package the 12th pick with Tobas Harris to free up $. Atlanta can go BPA and trade one of their proven guys and future luxury tax problem.

Losers

Magic
The only real loser here they go from a top 3 pick projection all the way to #5. They have lots of young players already and could look to make a trade to remove the amount of bodies they have.

After trading this years 23rd pick to the Pacers for Levert. They still can easily get back into the 20s with picks 33 and 37.

76ers (34)
They have the 1st pick in the 2nd round to go along with a lottery pick.

Hornets (38,40)
Two early picks in the 2nd round paired with the 10th could come in handy as they push to make the playoffs.

Magic (32,38)
They can add two more quality young players in the 2nd to their stable of young guys

Cody Pierce A Freakish Athlete

Sources have told us Indiana GM cried himself to sleep after dropping down to 7 and being unable to draft Cody Pierce. Cody is a freakish athlete the kind that comes around maybe once in a decade. The Pistons climbed up to #1 and are in position to take him unless they can work out a trade with the Thunder who draft 2nd overall.

Cody still has work to do on his offense grades so those will not impress you yet. He is 7'2 268 pounds just turned 21 and already has B+ athleticism. His speed and acceleration rating blows away the league average for the position. He can already defend and rebound at a high level. When you mix that with his size and speed at worse you see him be a double double machine and quality starter. The Pistons have to be thinking using him in the pick and roll with Cade.

Detroit probably needs the versatile SF Len Bias more than a C. Stewart did average a double and Olynyk played well also. Stewart is only 6'8 though and Detroit was dead last in the league in rebounds. It's going to be hard to pass up on Cody as you can't find guys like him in every class.

Pistons will be built for the future if they draft Cody Pierce. They could also trade Bey or Grant to pick up more assets since Pierce will take one of the forward spots.

Yea they are set up to make a big leap this year as Cade is going to be a superstar soon. Cody would give them a legit C then they can fill in the other spots. They are sitting with cap space so could go add some more win now players. They still have Grant as well so will probably keep him and see how the season starts out.
