Jimmy Butler Injury.jpeg

Heat star set to miss 4-6 months

December 19, 2020 - Big news coming out of Miami tonight as the Heat's star player, Jimmy Butler, is set to miss 4-6 months of the season after suffering a dislocated patella in the Heat's loss to Denver. Butler had to be carried off the court midway through the second quarter and went straight to the locker room and didn't return for the remained of the game. Coming off a big Eastern Conference Player of the Week award Butler looked to continue his form from in the bubble in last years' playoffs, but now the Heat's hope of even making it to the post-season look in doubt. At the time of his injury Jimmy was averaging 17.5 PPG, 9.3 RPG and 6.0 APG, leading the Heat to a 3-5 record through eight games. With their already dull record the Heat could be in for a disappointing season as Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro will once again have to step up to lead this Miami team against some of the tougher opposition in the league. Although this is the first major injury of the season, we have already seen lots of minor injuries taking out key players for multiple games to start of the season. We wish Jimmy a speedy recovery.

Zach LaVine FA.jpg

LaVine to test his worth this summer

December 20, 2020 - A shocker emerged in Chicago this morning, as rumour has it Zach LaVine has informed the Chicago Bulls he will be testing free agency this offseason and is looking to play for a winner. LaVine is having a career year so far and has been instrumental in getting wins on the board for the Bulls, so far leading them to a 4-6 record, which has included multiple 30+ point games. Although not a surprise for some, it comes as a small shock as the Bulls are gradually getting better each season and LaVine is enjoying his time with the squad, but he has let it be known he is sick of losing and wants to continue to star on a winning side, which he feels his is capable of. Plenty of teams have the space to sign the young gun, but with the news now spreading throughout the like will the Bulls try to get something back, or will they pull out all the guns and risk it all to keep him?

Much appreciated man, glad to have you following along. And by no means feel inclined to follow exactly what I'm saying if you like it another way, that's just how I tend to follow along the 'play every game' dynasties like yours. I do mine the way I do because it makes me feel personally more engaged, if you like the big recaps of stats, don't let me stop you. You're doing good work regardless!
