DeRozan can opt out this summer, and Aldridge is in a unique position, because he makes $24 million next season, but only $6m of it is guaranteed. So if I want to take advantage of that, I would just trade him to another team, edit his contract down, and then cut him.

Thanks for reading dude.
Yea as you know San Antonio is in a interesting spot when you try and plan out the next few years. I know in my-kenn Derozan went off playing the 4 spot with the CPU.

I've tried rebuilding the Spurs, and its not easy! Loads of potential if you can see it through. Need a real stud though, and they don't have it right now. Maybe you can trade for one in near future though! Good Luck.

Game 5: Spurs at Warriors

114 109

Spurs fall to Warriors, drop first game of the year

SAN FRANCISCO– The San Antonio Spurs lost their first game of the year, falling to the Warriors in a hail of three pointers from the Warriors. Golden State was led by new acquisition D'Angelo Russell, who scored 37 points on 8-15 from three point range. The Warriors as a team shot 19-42 from long distance.

“I got hot from three, and Steph just told me to keep gunning,” Russell said after the game.

The Spurs took a 5-point into the fourth quarter, but were unable to hang on for the win.

Up Next: San Antonio returns to the AT&T Center to face the LA Lakers, who are 5-0 on the season, with new acquisition Anthony Davis leading the way.

Yeah, we have some high potential players! The key will be matching this roster with the right star.

Game 6: Lakers at Spurs

116 102

Spurs drop second straight game, lose to Lakers at home

SAN ANTONIO– The LA Lakers acquired Anthony Davis this summer in the hopes of propelling the team to a title. After six games, so far, so good.

Davis showed why the Lakers are the title favorites this year, finishing with 28 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Lakers over San Antonio, 116-102. LeBron James entered the contest leading the NBA with 10.3 assists per game, and finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists, as the Spurs had no answer for LA's dynamic duo.

“Anthony is such a skilled player, to pair him with LeBron, its almost unfair,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said after the game.

The Lakers started hot, leading by 10 after one and pushing their advantage to 17 at the half. San Antonio made a couple pushes to get the lead down to single digits, but never seriously threatened LA after the first quarter.

Up Next: The Spurs travel to Atlanta to face the 4-1 Hawks.

He's awesome!

Decent three point shooter and rebounder. I'm still working how to attack with him, but I've had some good moments so far.

I'm planning on him becoming a big part of the team, whether that's as a starter or a sixth man. He might be great at just coming off the bench, bringing energy and attacking all over the place.
