This weekends NFL Hall of Fame festivities have got me thinking about the opportunities Madden football has missed on the Next Gen consoles.

Part of what makes the NFL so interesting is its history. So I'd like to see Madden begin using that history in gameplay... someday.

The most important thing to me would first be era specific playbooks and players. I see other sports games that are able to use past players, the upcoming NBA 2K11 and ActionPC sports are a couple....
