[FONT="Georgia"][SIZE="3"]The Finals.. Game 7.. Winner Takes All.

After leading to go up 3-0 and never once having lost in the 2016-2017 Playoffs, these New York Knicks was almost a guarantee to repeat as NBA Champions.

Enter: The Lakers.. I do not know how or why we got forced to a Game 7. Kobe certainly had his moments.. most notably Games 4 and 6 but really none of the games were blowouts and we were always in it, we just couldn't quite seal the deal.

Game 7 was yet another close game where both teams played like Heavyweights in a Prize Fight trading blows until only one team was left standing. Carmelo Anthony's efforts finally helped secure the Knicks' victory and are now the BACK TO BACK NBA Champions![/SIZE][/FONT]

The Black Mamba.. all 38 years of him simply willed his team, this game, this Finals series into a winner takes all Game 7. From being down 3-0, being pushed by the Knicks to the edge of the cliff of retirement on what will surely be a Hall of Fame carreer.

"Old Man" Kobe said not so fast.. let's play one more game, winner takes all.

Carmelo Anthony tried to do his best to secure the Knicks' Championship Repeat but he fell short. DJ Augustin led the Lakers in an intense Game 5 as Los Angeles beats New York 94-91.[/SIZE][/FONT]

Kobe did not have a 30 point game, or a 40 point, or 50.. he couldn't do the things he used to do now at 38 years old that he did when he was young. What he did went simply beyond that.. he willed his Lakers to victory avoiding the sweep by the Knicks.

Kobe Bryant simply refused to lose.
