It's been 5 months since my horrific knee injury. The orthopedist has sent me on my way, I've completed my therapy and things are starting to look a lot better. But according to the physical therapist and the doctor, there's still a long way to go.

I have to admit that so far, its been tough. I still find myself being overly cautious when I walk. I'm horrified of tripping over something and going through this whole thing again. I still can't run without a serious limp. And going...

Monday night (1-3-11), I made my triumphant return to the hardwood. After 10 years or so of 'retirement', I joined the church league team. I figured it would be fun. All of us hold guys hoopin', talking trash. And it was fun... Until I went into the game.

With around 15 minutes remaining in the first half, I got the call. I was so excited, I nearly went in without checking in at the scorer's table. With the adrenaline pumping, I finally got into the game. Then disaster struck....

I love music. All genres of music. From George Jones to Metallica to Boyz II Men to Jay-Z and anything in between. If it stirs any kind of emotion, then I can get into it. I guess it comes from listening to whatever radio station I could pick up out in the boondocks as a kid. But hip hop struck chords in my heart that still resonate to this day.

I grew up in a small town about 30 miles or so outside of Greensboro, NC and that's where my love began. There was a college radio station...

I'm a gamer. I wouldn't call myself hardcore, but I'm far from a casual gamer. On average, I put in at least 2-3 hours daily, sometimes more depending on my mood. However, my system is away for repairs and my habit is not getting satisfied.

Two weeks ago, after watching the Panthers get throttled by Arizona, I figured I'd get get some run in NCAA Football 09. My dynasty has been going well and after five seasons, I finally won my first National Championship with ECU (Go Pirates!!!)....
