5 Reasons why Dead Rising 2 is like Madden Nfl

Posted 10-08-2010 at 02:40 AM by oneamongthefence
My illogical look at how a football game and a zombie beat em up game compares.

#5 Time limits. In the game you have a time limit to win. or you lose period. Dead Rising has 3 days each broken up into 24 hours period while Madden has 1 hour thats boken up into 15 min quarters.

#4 Divas. Dead Rising 2 takes place in Fortune City and its pretty much Las Vegas which can be said to be known for its divas. MAdden Has TO and OchoCinco. Unlike in Madden tho Dead Risings Divas...

Player allegiances

Posted 09-10-2010 at 06:33 AM by oneamongthefence
Brett Favre is from Mississippi and so am I. So naturally Green Bay is my favorite team. When Favre unretired and was signed to the Jets Iand i rooted for them. Then he retired again and this time he signed with the Vikings. And I can't root for the Vikings cause of the rivalry. I can root for Brett but that would be rooting for the vikings cause his success is directly tied to the Vikes success. It's a dilemna I know. Any way are there any players or situations where you root for a hated team only...

Sports and Marriage

I'm finding that it is getting harder to maintain my sports addiction since I've been married. My wife tho I love her really hates sports. Madden becomes a struggle when I hear play something I can enjoy watching you play or turn that down. On tv it's not much better. Ghost hunters is on and I'm missing it for this. Nevermind Games are live and ghost hunters will be replayed eventually a hundred more times. One glaring resolution....

My idea involves taking all the death row inmates and all the life sentence prisoners and putting them in arena style gladiator games. (Think of the movie gladiator.) Put it on pay-per-view and all the proceeds go to the government which trickle back down to us. Since even tho...

Once again another blog which I hope will become a regular thing on OS. Basically I'm taking sports and sports games and looking at them through military eyes. I'm not speaking on behalf of all military people. It's just my perspective as someone in the military. I am in no way speaking for or on behalf on the military. This week: Albert Haynesworth.
In the world of the military, a contract is the most important thing that's signed. It states that the signee is designated to fight...
