Week 2 vs Raiders

Posted 09-09-2012 at 06:55 PM by roll2tide
Week 2, with adjusted sliders, brought the Raiders to town and a much, much better game. Carson Palmer went 19-28 for 252 yards but was sacked 4 times and was out played by Ryan Tannehill (14-20 214 yards sacked twice, 1 TD 1 INT) in terms of controlling the ball. Steve Slaton was the real star with 150 yards on 33 carries and a TD vs Darren McFaddens mere 54 yards on 20 carries (1 TD).

This game played out very well with the lead changing hands a few times before finally ending with a Miami win 24-16.

I'll make a few more slider tweaks before advancing weeks to turn my fumbles down (4, lost 2) and to try to get the CPU to pass rush better and slightly reduce broken tackles on both sides. Crowd noise was good, there were a few spectacular individual plays but they fit well within the context of the game.

Im still doing the shortest available practices. Tried trading LT J Long with no success. I'm pleased that off the field stuff is hard.

OL do too much suction blocking on DL who've beaten them and waaaay too often i see DBs and LBs just freeze and stand still one the ball is in the air. Not sure whats up with that.

Saints are putting up 46 ppg and Brees was PoW with 411 yards and 6 TDs (18-28) while McNabb won the AFC award quarterbacking the Brows. :/

Week 3 brings the J E T S.
