[FONT="Arial Black"]I got an early copy of the game Sunday, and after playing for a good amount of time all I can say is WOW!! Year after year companies claim game play is new and improved, but this year 2K delivered in spades!! I won't do a review but here are a few quick notes:

-Physical contact is AMAZING!, both in the paint and outside
-Fast breaks WORK, no catching up this year
-A.I. abuses you weaknesses, and covers your hottest player
-DEFENSE is FUN!! The new blocking mechanism is excellent
-Faces are a mixed bag, some stars look good others are just bad,
but EVERY rookie is excellent (go figure)
-Shoe editing is a bit tedious, and they're not the best looking
-Commentary as usual is spot on
-When breaking into a sprint, players don't have that awkward hop
step anymore, it's all very fluid
-Signature jump shots are well done, and you can choose release
speed
-New net physics seem to be in, you feel the weight when the ball
swishes trough
-Dunks are re-done, same packages but with better animations,
more power behind them and just overall prettier and athletic
-New lay up packages are sick!Westbrook,Lebron,and Harden are
my faves
-Crowd reacts very well to game action, they just don't do so all
time
-NOTHING new in create a player....NOTHING!
-I've seen a few signature get backs, they look spot on
-New interactions after free throws

I'm still playing trough some games randomly, but I'm stoked to see this game play with Next gen graphics after today's trailer. If you were on the fence about this game buy it! It's not perfect,but I think this might go down as the best 2K on this console generation.[/FONT]

I have midterms and a new born so I haven't played as much as I normally would,I also only played with the default pro settings right out of the box!-Bounce passing is AWESOME!-Defense is BACK!-The A.I. will abuse you even on Pro-CONTACT,CONTACT,CONTACT! These animations are game changing! You have to play it to believe it-Right stick dribbling is sooo much fun-Shoe creator is sick!! (side note: If you go to my shoes and click on certain default shoes, you can change the colors and materials!)-Half court heaves now have new animations-The self alley oop is hardly used by the cpu-jerseys have new shadings which look great! The finally have the retro suns jerseys in there-Watch the opening video, it is sick!-Game intros are fantastic and pump you up!-faces are more realistic, but some are hit or miss as always.-Rookies look great this year!-Players with the emphatic block skill REALLY throw your s$#t!-Sometimes players will move bigger players out of the way on dunk attempts, but very seldom...-Arenas seem more true to their real life counterparts-There are over 22 dunk packages and about 10 different dunk slots so you will hardly see the same dunk twice!!-there are about 5 slots for pre game animations and some of them are hilarious!That's all I can think of for now,when I play some more I will update it!

Last year I got madden early and did a Q & A for a little while. This year I got it early again ( 3 days ago) but seeing as how i work full time and go to school on-line, I'm just going to post little details I've noticed that keep the game fresh for me:

-Gus Johnson saying team specific things like: Who Dat? when the saints score, Who Dey? for the Bengals, How bout them cowboys? etc...
- New animations for getting hit while catching in mid-air, not just that stupid fall on your head one from last year.
- Cadillac williams got injured for the bucs in franchise mode, and when I played them there was a small cutscene of him in a track suit talking to their qb on the sideline...pretty neat
- Team chants are WELL done, my favorite is the saint's fans chanting: Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say they gon' beat dem saints?! PRICELESS!!
- New celebrations for specific players like Reggie Bush making the X with his arms and Chris Johnson doing....something Lol!
- When challenging a play, you sometimes hear the jeopardy theme song
- Diving catches are MUCH better animated than ANY other football game I've EVER played
- Lighting and weather effects are AMAZING, you have to see them to believe it
- It's a small thing but having Nike shoes(2) in the game with cool color combinations instead of just reebok makes a difference. Not to mention something i've been clamoring for: adjustable sock lengths!!!
- New catch animations, including the sideline catches, are a nice little touch that breaks up the monotony of playing franchise mode
- player faces are GREAT!!
- New ball swatting animations on defense, including a diving one

Those are a few thing I've noticed so far, wish i had the time to answer your questions but I'm really pressed for time! I'll update more things a i find them but that will be very sporadically done until I get some free time. I will try to upload videos or screenshots this week.
