I'm basically going to assign a title to each of these links... they are a link to various specified play index queries I conducted on basketball-reference.com... it's up to you to read the qualifying statistics and make sense of them. I'm just pin-pointing what they can actually mean. Some of you may find it fascinating, while some of you may find good tweaks to better reach the goal that the title suggests... I encourage you to take part in this and interact... who's to say we can't use stats to make an argument... especially when it's so easy in this internet age?

Quality Defensive Games Posted 11-09-2010 at 05:36 PM by X*Cell 1 OR more Blocks AND 1 OR more Steals AND 3 OR less Personal Fouls It's not perfect because of it's simplistic nature but you can check a barebones boxscore and determine a QDG, and when racked up over an entire season, the better defenders consistently top the charts.
