So… you are not going to add Mike Tyson… but Jake Paul. I must say that I’m offended by this.. I’m happy about New Knockdowns and knock outs and moving weight classes though.

Hard pass for me on any Jake Paul content.

My feelings about Paul are, is he a joke? Yes. Is he one of the very few things that gets people under 40 talking about boxing? Also yes. If his inclusion gets kids to pick up the game, then they actually get into the sport and start following legit fighters, then i’m all for it. I’ll pick up the DLC mainly because I want the other guys that are included, and I want to support the company so they keep making the game better.

My feelings about Paul are, is he a joke? Yes. Is he one of the very few things that gets people under 40 talking about boxing? Also yes. If his inclusion gets kids to pick up the game, then they actually get into the sport and start following legit fighters, then i’m all for it. I’ll pick up the DLC mainly because I want the other guys that are included, and I want to support the company so they keep making the game better.

I'm wondering if they're going to release the December patch before, after, or on the same date as the DLC. It just says mid December on everything I've read.

I'm really hoping they don't give into all the complainers and mess up the stamina. Stamina is fine IMO. Alot of people are upset that they can't throw 100 power punches in the first 2 rounds and not be gassed. I'm convinced most people don't want an actual boxing game. They want Mortal Kombat dressed as a boxing game.

Yes, it’s already confirmed the patch is coming along with DLC on the 12th.

plus the other fighters in this pack are SOLID ADDITIONS - everyone is so focused on JP without acknowledging it's great for marketing AND the other fighters are LEGIT.

Also this pace of fighters, by mid 2025 there will be another 50 guys in the game.

I think by then they'll have a decent working clinch, more animations and bug fixes, ref, better online, more career content, venues - apparel and gear! (someone notices GGG's hubolt stuff in the game files) etc.

Funny thing about the no clinch issue I noticed last night in a match……..I’d gotten hurt and was running for my life (since I can’t clinch) and the commentator is talking about how my hurt fighter should clinch up with his opponent lol. I wish I could!

Overall I’m enjoying the game as a strictly offline player. If they can fix the punch tracking and some of the clunky animations it would go a long way with me. Last night I land a hook to the head and the body showed shockwaves like I’d landed a shot to the body. Stuff like that.
