im wondering what is the best boxing game for ps2? any info and input will be appreciated. i want to buy a game on tuesday before i head back to iraq.

I am going to get flamed but I had the most fun with Rocky Legends. Fight Night just has too many gamekillers for my tastes.

Well, I guess you're in a bind for time but if you had more I would suggest purchasing the import VB2. But you need a fliptop.

Definitely VB2, best overall for gameplay and longevity.

Though I actually think Rocky Legends has more replay value than FN3.

My PS2 broke and even though I sent it in for repairs it was never able to play the 'blue' discs anymore.
If I can find a cheap PS2 ($50.00) on Ebay someday I'm going to grab it and rebuy VB.

If I had a Japanese PS2, could it play VB2? Would the Japanese PS2 even work with our electricity settings. I don't want to buy a fliptop because I have an older PS2 and the sharkport works like a charm on it and I don't want to mess that PS2 up.

A Japanese PS2 would definately play it but I'm not sure if the PAL attachments would work with your TV or electrical outlets.

I know that you might be hesitant to muck around with your PS2 but the Fliptop is incredibly easy to install and shouldn't mess with your machine at all.
You're basically just taking off the top cover and installing another one that allows you to change disc's from the top. Easy breezy.
