Re: Boxing Off-Topic

To clarify why would ESPN+ not take advantage of the Canadian market?

Re: Boxing Off-Topic

Kovalez looked like he was withering again but gets his second WIND while Yarde couldn't. The KO punch was a perfect power jab.

Yarde really should spar. Kovalev definitely got saved at the end of the round. I think all kovalev opponents should go to the body the entire fight.

Yeah, I can't understand how a boxer doesn't use sparring as a training tool. It's bad enough that Yarde's previous tomato can opponents didn't prepare him much for a rise in class.

Kovalez was rattled enough at the end of the 8th to have trainer Mcgirt threaten to stop the fight if he didn't see more from Krusher but Yarde didn't look very dangerous after that. Still he showed a lot of heart and his chin seems fine.

It was a very entertaining fight. First fight was good too.

I didn't realize that Buddy McGirt was the trainer of the Russian fighter that died of brain injuries recently. No wonder he was quick to warn Kovalev that he would stop it if he took more punishment.

I guess Canelo isn't yellow. I didn't know that he will square off against Kovalez on November 2. Andre Ward criticized the buddy-buddy selfie that was taken by the two after the bout was made.

Intriguing fight.

Entertaining bout last night between Quillin and Angulo. I think they got the decision right. Angulo deserved the win, he had Quillin hurt several times. This fight is a perfect example that the punch stats don't always tell the entire story
