Live gate for the fight:
Dan Rafael @danrafaelespn
Schaefer said the live gate for the fight -- that doesnt include closed circuit -- will be over $19.5 million, which crushes the record.

It safe to say any money they lost on Mayweather/Guerrero will be made back, and then some on this card.

Lol at this card.

Be interesting to see if they add Lara and Trout to it as well.

In a perfect world, I would love for those 3 fights and then open it up with Wilder v non can (assuming he beats Sergei) or Arreolla vs Mitchell.

At this point, you might as well put the ppv record out of reach forever.

Reminds me of the first million dollar gate. With inflation they're not too far apart.

This is a stacked stacked card. I think this could break 2mil buys.
this is like a co-main event now....WOW. garcia vs. matthysse could actually be the better fight, in terms of action, here.

Wow, I'm surprised they pulled it off. For me it's right up there with the main event. What a card.

You have the fights mixed up. Macklin went down with the body punch. "Robert G." managed to survive Floyd's "brutal" body attack.

So when do you get serious?
Guerrero was feeling every single straight to the body that round and that opened up a number of other shots for Floyd. A sustained attack of such variation would have gotten Robert out of there, the same goes for the stamina deprived Alvarez

Not going to happen that way-sorry. Now Canelo's body punching might be a factor.

now that would be an interesting strategy.....focusing on the body instead of the head. it could slow floyd down a bit, maybe enough for canelo to have a shot. if i remember right, cotto got in quite a few body shots in their fight. maybe one of the reasons floyd never wanted a rematch.
