I don't know (I really don't) but.......

Canelo>Trout>Cotto

If I remember correctly didn't Floyd have some trouble with Cotto?

I wouldn't bet against Floyd in this fight but Alvarez is a little bit of a threat.

You could argue that Trout out boxed Canelo and Floyd is a much better boxer than Trout. He's also faster and harder to hit than Trout. Canelo has a style that Floyd likes aggressive offensive focused fighters.

I had Trout beating Canelo so meh on that. Yeah Floyd didn't look "great" against Cotto, but I still think he will be fine. Especially if Canelo gasses like he did against Trout.

Trout lost, he wasn't strong enough. Floyd isn't as strong as Trout.

Floyd will be in a fight.

I hope Canelo isn't rehydrating with Coronas.

I don't think any boxer really gets easy money as they are getting in the ring with people who possess knock out power but in this instance May is just too fast and smart for this guy. Now if May fights him like he did Cotto he will be looking up at the lights.

Nice. I agree; I don't think it'll be a walk-over, I think he'll be in a fight for sure. Although I think it's tricky to say boxer A > B > C, and boxer D struggled w/ boxer C, therefore A>C...(convluted, I know). Boxing is about matchups as everyone knows, so we'll just have to see.

I know, I just threw that in there, although it's not totally without significance.

I'm looking forward to this fight for the same reason I always look forward to a May "Rich as Fffff" Weather fight... to see him lose.
At least finally this time he will be in with someone with skill and power who isn't either a million years old, or forced to balloon up to skill damaging weight.
Canelo has good head movement and knows how to box and take a punch. Not sure about his defense, though he has enough power to hurt Mayweather.
I will say this. Mayweather looked impressive against Mexican dude he fought last fight. lol I already forgot his name. But that could just be because he was terrible. lol. Dude had no head movement and was super slow.
Remember Mayweather complained of hurting his hand last fight and he's getting older soo Canelo winning isn't that much of a longshot.
