StreetBeefs: Gloves Up Coming to Steam Early Access in Summer 2020

Figured this would be worth a thread since streetbeef shows plenty of "boxing"

Posting some info:

Streetbeef is a backyard fight club in Virginia. ESPN article here. Their YouTube Channel here. (Quick side note. As far as I know it's apparently legal to fight in Virginia, if both parties agree to it. I do believe these MMA fight clubs are illegal in most other states, whereas their boxing "sparring" is legal in most states)

Streetbeefs: Gloves up is being made in UE4 which is an engine a lot of the latest games use and even movie studios now. Our game will be released on PC - Steam Early Access in the summer of 2020. Early access means that you can purchase and play the game whilst we are developing it (for a cheaper price) which will allow us to get the best feedback from you guys on the features you want in the game before full launch. Because of the quality we want to achieve with our game we will be launching it on next gen consoles which are due to hit the market at the end of 2020, PS5 and Xbox Series X specifically.

Just after Steam Early Access release we will be bringing all of the fighters into the studio to do full-body motion capture, so we can get their exact movements and personality into the game. We will also be adding a ton of new playable characters, fight locations and equipment throughout this time and we will work with you guys on what you want the game to be. There will be boxing and MMA in all of the Streetbeefs weight classes and UFC world champ Jens Pulver of course be in the game.

There will be 'tournaments' in each Streetbeefs event location and we will also have an online leaderboard (will go into more detail about that in the future). Streetbeefs: Gloves Up will also be a multiplayer game in which you can challenge your friends to a Streetbeefs showdown.

We will have a bunch more information and the trailer coming very soon, so hang in there and in the mean time head on over to Streetbeefs on YouTube and watch the fights!

Personally I'd be shocked if they manage to get on Xbox or PS4/PS5, I mean, YouTube has been itching to take them down.
