Sports World Thoughts
Bowling Green came out strong in this one, completely blanking FCS West. Although the score is pretty impressive, it is a very weak FCS West team. Bowling Green's new starting quarterback Claude Mueller looked good, and so did both of their running backs, Jimmy McNeal and Lucas Campbell. With two very good running backs in the back field, Bowling Green definitely has quite a few weapons on offense. Although their core of wide receivers are young, they have proven that they are nothing to take lightly.

Next Saturday Bowling Green will go into Tennessee next week to take on #7 Tennessee. That will be a huge test for Bowling Green, as Tennessee is favored to win this one by a pretty big margin.

If Bowling Green can pull this one out, they will prove that they deserve to be in the Top 25, and more specifically higher than their current rank of 24.

(QB) Claude Mueller: 21/30, 237 Yds, 2 TDs, 2 Rush TDs
(WR) Joe Wilson: 8 Rec, 89 Yds, 11.1 Avg, 2 TDs

Sports World Thoughts
Hopefully you had Claude Mueller in your college fantasy football league. 2 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, 237 yards, and only one interception, very early in the game.

Yes, that's correct, #24 Bowling Green upset the #7 Tennessee Volunteers. Can you believe it? Honestly, I wouldn't have, if I didn't watch it with my very eyes. Tennessee came out early, picking Mueller off, and I thought it was off to the races. But Bowling Green got the ball back, holding Tennessee multiple times, and scored 7 in the first quarter, 7 in the second, and 14 in the third. Finally Tennessee scored a touchdown with their tight end in the 4th, but it was too little, too late. Bowling Green didn't score a touchdown in the 4th, but instead settled for a 52-Yard field goal.

I guess from here on out, I'm going to be drinking the Bowling Green Kool-Aid, because time and time again this team has seemed to be against all odds, only to come out victorious. They may play sloppy. They not play the best. But they play to win...and they do just that.

I've actually used fake names. I had the real rosters, but accidentally saved over them when I created my son on the game. Bummer.

Yeah, I can't believe how well we played against Tennessee. I thought we'd lose for sure.

Re: Coaching Career of Matt Lytle (NCAA Football '09)

Later in the season I play USC. I don't think I'll be so lucky. I actually thought I'd lose some games last season, especially it being on Varsity and me so used to playing on Freshman...but I'm doing pretty well, and am afraid I may have to jump the difficulty even more. But I'll cross that bridge when it comes.
