I counted 2 - RT Stephon Heyer and RT Jon Jansen.

Re: 2013-Leaving the Browns for the Redskins (HC 09)

Fedex Field (Washington DC) The Redskins lost a close game to the rival NY Giants as they gave up 15 unanswered points in the 4th Quarter to let the game slip away, 28-20. Even with the lose Coach Hayes saw some positives out of the game, and some negatives. "The rookies are stepping up and playing well, they are still making some mistakes but I can live with that...for now. However, there is no excuse for the mental mistakes I am seeing from the veterans. This is fundamentals, the o-line should not be missing blocks (RT Jansen gave up 2 sacks) and the defense has got to make the first hit count!"

The Giants broke the back of the Redskins when RB Joseph broke 4 tackles late in the 3rd Quarter and ran 66 yards for the winning TD with 1:37 left in the game on 3rd and 9.

The Redskins travel across the country to Arizona to take on the Cardinals next week.

I was really surprised when I looked at the other QB stats...I dont know why he won POW...unless it the OT win.

Man what a tough loss, I have had quite a few of those but most of mine are on last second field goals in which serna usally misses my game winners... Maybe the league just felt sorry for him that is why he won the player of the week, but u maybe right is does probably have something to do with the overtime win...

Thanks...that one really got me...I was controlling the game until the 4th Quarter...I think my trainer might be part of the problem though. His fatigue recovery isnt good and the players get tired very quickly and I have to keep rotating them in. I think my 2nd stringers were in on that play that lost me the game.

Re: 2013-Leaving the Browns for the Redskins (HC 09)

FedEx Field (Washington DC) The Washington Redskins were able to hold on for the win this week in Arizona, stopping a 4th Quarter drive to preserve the 20-14 victory. The O-line is continuing to struggle as it gave up 5 sacks. RT Jansen is not helping his case of getting re-signed by giving up 2 sacks himself. That means he has given up 5 sacks in 3 games.

The defense continued giving up big runs late in the game, but this time they were able to stop the drive at the 19 and the FG attempt sailed wide right. Cardinals QB Wyoming was confused by the many looks the Redskins used in the secondary causing him to throw 4 INTs.

The Redskins head in to the bye week needing the rest and time to recover from minor injuries.

GAME STATS
Redskins
Tolliver: 12-19, 190 yards, 2 TDs, 5 sacks
Crosby: 27 carries, 64 yards
Phillips: 5-8
Clark: 3 catches, 52 yards, TD
Nickerson: 3-45, TD
Ball: 2-25
Pierce: 2-46
Crosby: 2-22
TFL: 3
Sacks: Chapman, Dexter
INTs: Jackson (2), Woodson, Riggs

Cardinals
Wyoming: 16-25, 174 yards, TD, 4 INTs
Johnson: 19 carries, 71 yrds, TD
McAllister: 7-34
Wyoming: 1-3
Fitzgerald: 8 catches, 99 yards
McAllister: 2-16, TD
Sweed: 2-20
Miles: 1-5
Heap: 1-9
Wynn: 1-12
Johnson: 1-13
