Re: A New Northwest: Seahawks Dynasty (HC 09)
Here's the rundown on Positions:
QB: Pretty good, Hasselbeck is a very nice starter, could use a better backup.
HB: Pretty weak, Maurice Morris isn't very good, I don't have any other backs, definitely needs to improve
FB: no players here
WR: THis position took a hit with the new philosophy, I need to re-sign D.J. Hackett and look for a good #2
TE: Terrible here, only 1 TE on the roster, and he's 3rd string fodder. Definitely need a perennial starter
LT: Walter Jones is a cornerstone, but getting older.
LG: Mike Wahle is average, probably go with the youth movement and start Rob Sims
C: Spencer improved with the new philosophy, so he will enter the season as the likely starter
RG: Moved Sean Locklear here, he's a very good RG
RT: current starter is Ray Willis, who is ok
LE: Patrick Kerney is solid, could use a better backup
RE: need a starter here, Tapp is a 73
DT: good, not great. Mebane solid, young player. trying to trade Tubbs, Rocky Bernard needs to go, overpaid, not very good
LOLB: Hill's pretty good here, will need a b/u
MLB: Tatupu is great, Koutuvides is below-average backup
ROLB: Peterson is good, but WAAAYYYY overpaid
CB: Trufant's in Free Agency, but I re-signed him (details later) need a #2 with the new philosophy
FS: Russell's pretty good, but I'd rather trade him and get somebody younger
SS: Grant is below-average starter, need a new guy here
K: Brown is pretty good, but I might trade him
P: Plackemeier is fine
