Nice win, Muhammad is beast! 15 catchs in one game! And what does "Smith: 109" mean? Oh, and can u post the OVR and POT of the two safties u traded? Although I'm a football fan I did not start watching NFL a lot until this year so I'm not really good with all the names of players.
That "109" means TYPO It is supposed to be 1-9

SS Hope is 80 OVR, 81 POT
FS Manning is 75 OVR, 80 POT (but he has had 2 INTs in 2 games and a fumble recovery)

Re: The Career of S Kampfer

Bank of America Field (Charlotte NC) The visiting Chicago Bears found out the Panthers have gotten a little more swagger to their step than they had last year. The Panthers defeated the Bears 21-7 behind a very stingy defense that only gave up 44 yards rushing yards and saw back-up Bears QB Orton come into the game after starting QB Grossman was injured on a OLB Davis sack.

The Panthers and Bears were scoreless at the end of the 1st Quarter, but the Panthers had a comfortable half-time lead of 14-0 on a WR Smith 9 yard reception and another 7 yard TD reception by WR Hackett.

The Bears and Panthers traded punts, and turn-overs, during the 3rd Quarter, but no points were put on the board. However, the Bears drew within 7 on a Bradley 9 yard TD reception early in the 4th. The teams once again traded punts until the Panthers put together a nice drive that sealed the game after a RB Williams burst up the middle for a 17 yard score.

Coach Kampfer said he was pleased with the game, but is concerned because the defense is allowing big plays. "We are putting alot of pressure on the QBs but that is not resulting in turnovers...that is something we will be working on."

The Panthers travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings next week.

Re: The Career of S Kampfer

Because of all of the injuries to my DTs I checked the FA wire to see if I could pick someone up to fill in for a few weeks.

Low and behold there was Rookie Dre Moore from Maryland!! Needless to say I signed him quick fast and in a hurry!! He only had 1 tackle in the game against the Bears, but he did a great job plugging up the middle!

Re: The Career of S Kampfer

If u watch when another team drafts him usally through the preseason they have a very hard time to get him to sign, my guess would be he never could agree so he was dropped into free agency... Daniel Manning always seems to play above his potential in this game... Also btw, I have noticed that in this game tall recievers tend to do better than smaller ones... (6'0 and up)

Btw, good win and wow starting 2-0 with the Panthers, that is usally how many wins they get in an entire season in this game...
