Re: Road To Glory: The Coaching Career Of John Sanders

I used to use the speed philosophy for my WRs, and it gave Fitzgerald a rating of 88! If you want guys who can catch balls I suggest you use the soft hands/route WRs. And I will be following too.

But yeah, I plan to dominate, I just pray that I can fix the damned QB situation. Haurd aint gonna do anything....Croyle is crap....

I wonder if I should sign any of the QB's in FA, draft Woodson and groom him, better than having him start in his rookie season
Still back then they basically were the biggest power in the afl and was there best year ohh i wish are team was good as they where back then.

Yeah, I just finished the draft and'll post Who I got in FA and Draft later today, as i'm at school now.

I'll mess around with the philosophy, though speed is great when you have Andre Woodson. Bastard over throws every now and then....

Alright folks, here we go! My Offseason (simmed Pre-Season, went 1-3)

Franchise tagged: WR Samie Parker (bastard actually stinks, cut him, saved 8M. Got a FA Rookie with 86 POT and 77 Catching) So all and all, didn't lose money, YAY!

FA Signed: CB Asante Samule, RG Ben Noll, K Rob Bironas, WR DJ Hackett, CB Joey Thomas

Draft:
Round 1, Pick 17: RT Gosder Cherilus
Round 1, Pick 23: RE Calais Campbell
Round 3, Pick 9: FB Jacob Hester
Round 3, Pick 10: QB Andre Woodson
Round 3, Pick 26: DT Red Bryant
Round 3, Pick 28: HB Jamaal Charles
Round 5, Pick 23: WR Kevin Robinson
Round 7, Pick 3: TE Kellen Davis
Round 7, Pick 15: CB Dwight Lowery
Round 7, Pick 32: WR Jamar Johnson

Guys in bold failed to make the cut

Here's the draft picks I have next year (right now anyways)

2009 Round 1
2009 Round 1 (Steelers)
2009 Round 2 (Saints)
2009 Round 2
2009 Round 2 (Ravens)
2009 Round 3
2009 Round 4
2009 Round 5
2009 Round 6 (Raiders)
2009 Round 6
2009 Round 7 (Raiders)
2009 Round 7 (Saints)
2009 Round 7

2010 Picks haven't changed at all. Still 1,2,3,4,5,6,7

Thoughts?

P.S I got the Zazzali Path (sigh)

Oh, and I forgot to mention. I traded Brodie Croyle in the off season to the Bears for some 08 picks. Nothing much happened,, but now he's their starter. Interesting to see what happens

Did you keep the same playbooks or did you change them? Draft looks good. What kind of shape is your cap in now?

Do you plan on playing the games or simming them?

Looks good overall.

Zazzali Path eh? I've got the same path. It's not very hard, the problem is that each year some positions are very strong and in contrast some positions are very weak. So you've got to be prepared for that. Pretty good and path otherwise and it's challenging too.

From the first page:

Yes, that is right. I'm doing a Chiefs Career instead....I'll be using playbooks I made, The Offensive Playbook is inspired by the Steelers Smashmouth (111 Plays) and the Defensive Playbook is Inspired by the Patriots Pressure (89 Plays)
Gosh, if u only would pay attention...
JUST KIDDING!!!

Hey, Maximum Panic that was pretty decent FA signings and pretty soild draft overall, but was Ryan Clady or Brandon Albert still there at number 17???

Also, with two number 1 draft picks and having the Zazzali path, then maybe u could move up and get him 1st overall, but only if u have the cap room for next year though...

Btw, like metioned before make sure to pay attention to the catch ratings when u are using the speed phlisophy...
